.....how long did it take you after coming off the pill to fall preggers?
i fell pregnant with ds1 within 2 months of ttc but that was before i'd ever used the pill.
and hello all, good luck to all who are ttc too!

3 mths for ds1, 2 mths for dd1, 2 mths dd2, immediately for ds2. Sil took 10 mths to conceive 1st, only 2 to conceive second. Good luck and happy trying

I'd like to know too. I stopped at the beginning of Aug, been TTC ever since.
I've been told it comes out your system straight away as you can get pg if you miss only one (obviously very fertile people - )

It took me three months with my daughter - but the first two, we weren't really trying as we were working like dogs in the week when the ov times fell!
You can find info (e.g. by Zita West) on the theory of rebound fertility - that you are most fertile immediately you come off the pill - she reckons that conception rates are higher than average when women first come off, but then they dip a bit for 18 mts or so.
I know loads and loads of people who got pg first month.
I will let you know if I am still here next month! I did notice I ovulated quite late this month (my first off the pill).

I came off for the recommended 3 months before trying - took folic acid tablet at same time I took pill (good way to remember to take it!). Cycle wasn't completely predictable during those 3 months - conceived on first attempt. I think luck has a lot to do with these things - as well as being aware of general ovulation times/symptoms.

Came off pill in Sept for same reason (about to start ttc #2) and cycle has seemed to be getting shorter each month! Makes it difficult to use the online ovulation calculators. Easier to just use symptoms instead.

Good luck!
