Could anybody tell me any secrets if they have to conceive a boy?

I already have a daughter. I tried last month: I saw my LH rise on 12th day of my cycle at 3 pm and had sex after 12 hours I saw LH surge. (In the morning at 9 am, no LH surge) So had sex at 3 am (13th day) and 7 am on 13th day. (7 am, still LH surge), 3 pm still LH surge. No LH at 7 pm. Am I doing it right? Please help me.

you can conceive a baby by having sex around your fertile time of the month. some say that if you have sex around 3 days before you ovulate and not again the chances of conceiving a boy are higher as the male sperm live longer, but tbh no methods are foolproof so you've just as much chance of conceiving a girl as a boy.

And I would stop doing ovulation tests every few hours as it, for one must be costing a fortune, and two, the stress of constantly testing/timing the intercourse at certain times of the day won't help you. Stress can actually delay/prevent ovulation, so I would just relax and make love to your husband regularly without turning it into a military operation.

I thought it was suppose to be the other wat around?

Y sperm swim faster but die younger, X sperm & slower but hardier! So for a boy you're supposed to have sex on the day of ovulation only and for a girl a few days before ovulation only. Either way I'm not convinced it makes much difference & may reduced your chances of conceiving at all that month (the more sex you have in the 3 day 'fertile window' the more likely you are to conceive).

As far as OPKs go, there isn't much point in continuing to test once you have a positive since ovulation should occur 12-36 hours after the first positive.

yes it's the other way round Wannebe.

Have sex the day of ovulation to increase chances of concieving a boy; have sex two or three days before ovulation to increase chances of having a girl.

I remember my mum telling me something about washing in vinegar / bicarbonate of soda - one for a girl, one for a boy, I didn't bother listening! I just want to get pregnant. Boy or girl!

It is definately the other way around, girl sperm live longer, boys are faster swimmers. I concieved both of my boys on the day I ovulated.
