I think male sperm swim faster and don't live as long as female sperm so I think you should try just before ovulation if you want a girl.

Buy [[http://www.amazon.co.uk/Taking-Charge-Your-Fertility-Revised/dp/0060937645/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3/026-185?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 0985-7262826?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1194278675&sr=8-3 this book] and all will be revealed. It really is excellent. I am lucky too but I put a large part of getting pg first time both tries (2 dc) down to the effectiveness of charting my cycle following Dr W's advice. Also got pg with ds (trying for a boy) using the method suggested.

Possibly.

With regard to your first question - have you tried doing a search for messages. I'm sure this question was asked the other week.

I have two boys and would love a little girl but not in a position to have another yet

I have been referred to www.in-gender.com (thinking of trying for a boy myself) - good (US) website.
