Pregnant after af type bleed?

Hello

Hope you don't mind me asking a question, but i'm driving myself potty thinking about it.

We've been ttc #2 since March and thought we'd cracked it last month. I had loads of symptoms and thought my bfp was a sure thing.

I did a clearblue digi test the morning af was due and got 'not pregnant'. Then later that day af started. It was different to normal, not light, but pretty painless. The cramps leading up to af were bad and started nearly 2 weeks before af came.

I am now half way through my next cycle and for the past few days have been feeling really ill. Getting up weeing through the night 2 or 3 times, bad headaches every day, really thirsty, bloated tummy (along and just above bikini line area), feeling sick through the day, really tired to the point that I feel I need to nap in the day, sore boobs, heartburn, windy (sorry) and just generally pants!

I have read of some women having an 'af type' bleed but still being pregnant. Does anyone know anything about this, or have any experience of it? Any advice (good or bad greatly taken)

Thanks, Lou x

some people continue to have af all through pg, so it can happen. Take another test! Good luck

I had a lighter than usual af last July. Then on day 12 of my next cycle I was feeling sick and had heart burn and I also noticed that I had cm which was more like 2ww cm. So I did a test and was shocked when it was a strong bfp straight away. Unfortunately it wasn't a happy ending. I ended up having surgery for a suspected ep. I think its always best to test and then if it is BFP go for an early scan.

i think you need to take another test and if you get a bfp call your epu and request a scan.
