Hi flosspot, I read somewhere that not all women produce enough hormones to register on the OPK, so you could be ov'ing soon anyway. HTH

Flosspot

Do you have a PCOS diagnosis?.

If so opk's are certainly not worth using, they are a complete waste of time if you have such a diagnosis.

I do have PCOS, Atila. Why do the OPKs not work?

Fellow PCOSer here.

The OPK measures levels of LH. Many women with PCOS have an excess of this hormone in relation to FSH so the kit reads the excess. Hence them being next to useless when it comes to PCOS.

Do you know what your current LH/FSH levels are like in relation to each other?. This is important as if you are taking clomid this (clomid) can affect LH levels and increase them (which is often the last thing needed). You should be monitored with this drug treatment - no monitoring is not acceptable.

Have no idea what my levels are. they keep taking blood and never giving me the results. HAve had three scans too, but no information. Hoping to get new referral from GP. Last cons. appointment was in May, next in October.
