Hi everyone,
I have been hovering over this board for a few months and wondered if there were any sheffield-ers out there.

Ive had initial investigations due to lack of periods, no ovualtion with clomid cycles. We have been referred by jessops gynae to the assisted conception unit, but there is a waiting list and it will be be 3 months before the intial appointment. This is just the intial appt, before they actually do anthing. Im presuming further waiting lists follow.

Does anyone know what the criteria are for NHS treatment in Sheffield health authority. Or will we have to go private? Im 32. I know I could just ring up and ask bu not easy in an open plan office...

I don't know criteria, but I saw top bod there privately. His name was TC Li. (Chinese), and from what I could gather, he is extremely clever person. He was also v nice and human.

Jessops is meant to be one of the best places in country.

If you want to contact me catms2005 at yahoo.co.uk. He was v good, and not that exp TBH, although had health insurance. Why not ask GP to refer you for just one consultation with him?

I think it was about £55.00 at Thornbury.
