So every month I get AF like clockwork. In December AF came on time (23rd) but was much lighter and shorter than usual. Didn't think anything of it. My periods are usually about 5 days. Now yesterday I got AF 5 days early (never happened before) and in terms of flow it was normal (medium probably) but no clots and no cramps, just bright red blood all day. Then today it has virtually stopped! A 2 day period is very unusual for me!

So as I had a couple of tests lying around I did one this evening. This was the result...(see picture) I thought I could see something straight away but wasn't sure. I know I shouldn't take it out of the casing but had to inspect! It was a FRER rapid response.

What do you make of all this? Is it just an unusually short period? I should also mention that I have had the worst headaches the last few days, have slept literally all day until about 3.30 in the afternoon! And have been feeling quite sick but could just be a bug?

I would test again in a couple of days, that test line looks grey and more like an Evap to me, but you'll know soon enough! Hope you get the result you want Flowers

I think that's an evap unfortunately. I have had similar tests, although haven't experienced the bleeding you've described. Maybe wait a few more days? This was my test. I went mad looking at that bloody line.

Thank you, I had also wondered about it being an evap as I couldn't see much colour in it so I hadn't got my hopes up. Just strange bleeding! Not sure (if it is AF) why they are so short? X
