Sorry not much help but I'm in a similar position, we're hoping to start TTC in December, I'm on cerelle now.
Came off Cerazette in Jan 2014 and was pregnant by March. I'm hoping it will be as easy the second time round too.
I loved Cerazette. Gp put me on cerelle after DD was born saying they're the same, but I haven't found that.
Good luck OP

did you wait for periods after stopping the pill?

Hi jools. Im almost in the same position as you. 30 years old but ttc #1. Been on cerelle for 14 years so no period since 2002!! I took my last pill on wednesday. So far nothing to report except a dull headache yesterday and faint AF ache which i hope may mean that i will have my withdrawal bleed in the next couple of days although that may be my mind playing tricks on me. Im very anxious that my periods will come back regular

I just came off the pill (on honeymoon!) and had two minor bleeds/spotting before I got pg. I didn't particularly wait for my period, just had loads of sex and it luckily all worked out.
Good luck

Today is CD44 off cerelle. No widthdrawal bleed. No AF.

Please be mentally prepared that it could take up to 6 months for your cycles to regulate. Don't torture yourself. I had a dull AF tummy ache for 3 weeks waiting for AF. Still not showed up.

Sorry that wasn't very positive, but honestly it's an exciting time, try to relax and have fun. X

I think the advice is to wait until you have a withdrawal bleed? I admit i have tried a few but all negative. I came off the pill a week ago and have been having crampy pains but no bleeding yet. Are you going to start trying straight away or wait for your first real period?

i don't really want to wait but still spotting from pill AF

Jools, you can't really track anything until you've had a few AFs. I know it's frustrating but you don't know when/if you are ovulating. And your cycle most probably won't be a normal length. Sad

Hi, I am new to all of this. I have been on cerezette since 2003, my doctor changed my pill 2years ago to Cerelle. I have not had a period since 2003. I took my last pill on 23.10 and still no sign of withdrawal or monthly period. I have had sore boobs and a bit of bloating but no sign of monthly cycle! Me and my partner are TTC and all I seem to read is horror stories! Anyone had any positive stories when coming off this pill? Smile

Positive story here!

It took me nearly 2 years to conceive my DS1, a following 4 to conceive DD. I had PCOS with my right ovary as being described as 'completely cystic'.
I took Cerazette for 7 years without any bleeding. Stopped taking in September 2014 and was pregnant by November 2014.
I had a scan and was advised that I only had one small cyst on my right ovary. I absolutely believe that pill helped.
Best of luck!

Update!!! I finally had a withdrawal bleed yesterday and today I've pretty much finished it. Is this normal?

Dannii you might have a very short cycle and then have a proper AF. FX for your cycles getting back to normal.
