Could I be pregnant?

I've only been trying for the past few months to conceive. I've been regular every 28 days since coming off the pill almost 7 years ago and I'm usually quite heavy flow for 4 days. I was meant to start last Thursday 20th but I started a day early but it was very light and only lasted one day and had some spotting. For the past week I've been really bloated, peeing loads, feeling sick and very sensitive boobs. I've also been very emotional and crying over the silliest things. I've done hpt's but they've only showed as negative. My mum didn't have positive tests until she was 7-8 weeks and bled the first few months with my brothers so I know it's possible to have false negatives but I'm curious as to whether I could be already pregnant or not.

Also, my cat who is usually outdoors 90% of the time and only comes in for food has becoming unusually attached to me the past few days, he suddenly won't leave me alone and has to sit on me all day. They do say pets can sense some things before we can.

It's hard ttc, you end up on a roller coaster you can't get off! To be honest, it does sound possible that what you're experiencing could be implantation bleeding, I don't want to get your hopes up but your symptons match what I had when I was pregnant. I would invest in a really good pregnancy test, maybe wait a few more days if you can bear it, and take it from there. I really hope it's good news for you but if it isn't your month I hope it will be very soon.

best test would be a first response test with pink lines, let us know how you get on xx

I second the first response with pink lines, the Clear Blue ones were not as good for me.

With my first I was 5 days late before getting a positive, this time I was positive testing early (tested early in date confusion).

My cat is super cuddly with me, I am 7 weeks, my last pregnancy my cat followed me everywhere, I missed trains and was late for meetings as I hadn't realised that he followed me to the station and I had to walk him home!

Test first thing in morning, if still negative then leave it a couple of days. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi I have attached an image I couldn't find a forum that spoke about this and also don't know how to post a question? so I hope someon can help. I done a test today out of curiosity and I have been having unprotected sex, there seems to be two lines but they seem very close together? And I have a showing of blood for two days over a week ago now but I've been searching and apparently that could be normal at the beginning of the pregnancy? I don't have another test to do but I just find it hard to believe the lines look so close?

Furryminkymoo that sounds just like my cat! He keeps following me around when I put him down or follows me to the car when I try to leave. I was late to work yesterday as had to keep taking him back and in end had to put treats down to distract him.

I'm going to wait a little while and see what happens and test again just before when my next cycle is due.

Loulou12445 it is possible that you are pregnant. I spent ages looking when I had some bleeding, apparently you can have implantation bleeding. Even though the 2 lines are close together they are two separate lines so is definitely a possibility. Could always wait until you can get another test or even speak to your gp as they should have urine dip tests.
