Light periods

Just wondering if anyone else has light periods. I am starting to worry that the lining of my uterus doesn't get thick enough to support a pregnancy. I only really have roughly 24 hours of actual flow, then maybe 2 days max of spotting. I only usually need to use proper protection for 2 days, and could get away with changing in the morning, lunch and before bed on the heaviest day (I change more regularly for freshness).

I had an internal scan a few months ago which showed no abnormalities. The lining showed about 6mm on day 19. My periods can be anywhere between 29-33 days apart. They can be really painful on the first day, and I sometimes get ovulation pain for over a week.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had similar this cycle, only 24hrs of flow but I had to wait 38 days for it this time!

My periods are very light and similar to how you've described - couple of days brown spotting and only one or two days of red blood. I could get away changing pantyliners just two or three times a day (if that) if I wanted, the flow is that light. But I got pregnant on my third cycle of trying and am now almost 38 weeks pregnant with no complications. So in my case I assume light periods were not an indication of any problems.
