Help plzz test changed !!

Hi all,

New to the site but need some advice done test about two hours ago and waited about four mins and looked negative, just went back up and test now says positive, is this an Evap line??

Any advice much appreciated xx

I'd say that was a positive. Maybe take another test just to be sure.

How long does the test say before discarding the result?
It's usually around 10 mins but that looks like a positive to me, Evaps are usually grey X

You need to test again. You do need to check within the time frame though to confirm either way.

That's what happened with BOTH of my pregnancies- it's really hard to get a false positive so I'd say you're pregnant. And the line is pink too, I think evaps are supposed to be grey?

(Both my little pregnancy test ninjas are currently falling asleep in their beds next to me).

Not sure if this was planned, so will just say best wishes for the future

We had been trying for five years and had come to terms that it wasn't going to happen for us X been a tough two years and financially and house being sorted we aren't ready but it could be my baby xx

My little bundle of terror wasn't planned but she is very much the best thing that happened to me and DP. Inconvenient timing but I've never been one to conform.

It said five mins on it. It was two hours later when I checked it again X am about a week late and I am usually regular but I have all the ones symptoms they just happen to be similar to being pregnant symptoms xx

Looks positive to me, how closely did you look? Is there a possibility it was a very faint positive at the 4 min mark and it has darkened as it dried? xxx

They do say not to read them after 5 mins, however that does look more positive than evap lime

I'm not 100% sure I seen the control line appear an didn't see the same red line appear in the positive but I Was always under the impression it would be clear and show quickly if I was pregnant, so didn't pay too much attention after the few mins of waiting. So used to negative results X

It was home and bargain test, cheap if that makes any difference.

The same happened to me - a faint line appeared but I didn't notice until later. I checked with a digital and I was pregnant. I'd be popping to the supermarket to get another test!

If you are a week late, you shouldn't need first morning urine, I wouldn't have thought.

I've been trying for over a year and am so tense and on edge that it might finally be positive this month. I can't imagine how you must be feeling after 5 years.

My friend did a test said it was negative and handed it to me. I looked at it and said are you sure? The line was faint and she hadn't noticed it. Possibly what's happened here especially as you're so used to seeing negative tests.

Going to get more tests now just deciding what ones to get xx will post and let you know later today xxx arrggghhhh am too nervous to actually check I think I'm enjoying the possibility I am and dont want the test to say no now xxx
