Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

mouse I came off the pill after 5 years. my advice, wear white knickers and pale trousers/skirts Wink It can take up to 6 months for your regular cycle to return. Make sure you start taking folic acid now though ! you should take it 3 months before you conceive.

currently looking after the bus tickets. Let me know your expected AF or poas date and i'll add you to our list!

Welcome Honey

DH is on it this month, this morning he said "Right every other day until the smiley thing starts flashing then everyday, even if I have to jizz in a cup" He's SMEPing without knowing Grin Oh well, it took us 11 cycles but we got there in the end (dtd often, not pregnancy that is).

I'm sitting in Costa reading all day. New job starts next week so I'm going to enjoy my time off.

TTC #1
Cycle.......1 (since mc)

MC in early August, bled until mid september. Had 2 days of thinking I had ovulated and gotten upduffed again (lol) before the mother of all AFs got me. 3 days of no bleeding had me cautiously optimistic that I might ovulate later this week and then BAM today I get some sort of murder-scene-esque bleeding at work when I have just a little grey dress and NO PADs so I have to spend 45 minutes mopping up in the ladies at work. No dignity left, probably no uterus (I think I just left it on the toilet floor) and a baby shower to go to tonight. Still, could be worse. Right?

Im sorry everyone, I've been so self-absorbed lately. Who has news? who is testing? xx

Also, Hep I joined in December last year, so I'm not quite an original, but feeling like a pretty sodding long-standing member. Can't believe how this year has gone by so fast, and I feel like its been spent either bleeding, or waiting to bleed. FFS.

fxskip i think i joined jan or feb. I think kwick joined shortly after me.

so sorry you got caught at work !! eek!!
can you blue-peter a toiletpaper pad and sneak to the shops?

I know that the surgical option is not without its risks, but i do seem to have got of lightly compared to you. And I am so grateful to your support when it first happenedFlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers.

I confess, part of me was "feeling good" to bleed after ERPC? As in, no period since May, it seemed evidence of getting back. Not sure how exactly I will feel when AF arrives? glad?

i stopped wearing panty liners yesterday, but have emergency ones with me just in case, as i thought it stopped before ....

I actually feel slightly reassured by new-born baby photos of girls I went to school with ? As in they are also 37.

But I know how you feel about the waiting for bleeding to start, and then waiting for it to end. I think part of the hardest part of the mc was that you start making plans? how your life might change dramatically? and then its taken away and you are back in the old routine. p.s. i still haven't thrown my one +ve pee-stick away. Its the only evidence i have. They took back my pg book away from me.

Did you have a mc clinic appointment? think I am meant to have one this week as a followup.

Thanks Hep

I took mycrogynon for 11 years (combo pill - regular fake AF every month) and then switched to cerelle last September. So no AF for the last year.

Before that I remember not really tracking things but being regular. I had very bad pains which stopped as soon as I started the pill.

I finished cerelle 12 days ago. Still no withdrawal bleed but I've had cramps and AF symptoms since I came off the pill. I was sure she would show up this past weekend so I may have to wear white soon!! Got a constant dull ache in my lower tummy so I know when she does show her ugly face it might be a horrendous one.

So yep, that's me!! I'm excited and pretty calm. Own no sticks so not gone crazy yet and feels a little strange that we're actually TTC as we've wanted this for 6 years (together for 12) and DH thinks he has super sperm so thinks this will be easy.... I haven't the heart to tell him he's bonkers and will probably take a while lol Grin

mouse my only advice is try to relax and enjoy the journey which is more of a marathon than a sprint. have non-ttc things to look forward to and don't put your life on hold as none of us know how long things will take for us. LSFX for you and honey

feel free to rant and share TMI, what ever you need to be as unstressed as possible.

Due to test at the weekend. I think I'm down for 1st on the list but my period tracker has spontaneously shifted me to 4th. I'm totally going to crack and test on Sunday though. I'm not expecting to get a positive this month, the DTD dates were not what I would have liked.

Hi everyone,

TTC #1

AF due 5 Oct

I dropped off the last thread entirely and am now sheepishly slinking back!

Hi newbies, congrats to all the grads, FlowersCakeWine to all those that AF got and huge hugs to you Hep

It's been a tough couple of months, SIL and DB announced that she is upduffed at my Dad's landmark birthday, they had been married a whole month when she conceived. She then told me she wasn't taking folic acid because it gave her spots. Angry I feel horrible because my parents know DP and I are TTC and I don't want them to feel guilty that they are excited about being grandparents.

I'm pretty sure that last month (month after DB's announcement) I had a CP - didn't take a test because they make my heart sad, but was a couple of days late and there was a lot of gunk in there, including ( sorry way tmi) a stringy, clearing blob, with a tiny pink blob in it (about the size of a grain of rice). I've passed membrane before, but never anything like this. In a way I hope it was a CP, it's the first hint of anything at all in the last 10 months, and gives me a faint hope that I'm not quite the shrivelled husk I think I am. Trying to be much more chilled this month (I say that every time!) all the big milestones have passed and nothing's happened, so just waiting it out til I have to go to the go.

Argh, sorry, a monster post, don't write for weeks and then it all comes tumbling out- sorry!

welcome back SnarkyGorgon ! I don't know about CP, but sounds quite possible...... the benefit (?) of an ERPC is you don't get to see the "conception products" (a delightful term Hmm ). perhaps just have a quiet work alone with your mum to tell them they can be happy to be grandparents?

my parents were so paranoid about not putting pressure on my SIL that my SIL thought they weren't excited !! I had to tell SIL that they had a bottle of champagne in the cupboard for 5 years before my first DN was born !!

Mouse LSFX= legs spread, fingers crossed!! I think (if my memory is correct?) that nicky gets the credit for that one ! (sorry to the rightful copyright owner if i mis remember !)
