Hi,

I've been TTC since February - I had an early miscarriage in May that has lengthened my cycles by about 4 days. I am currently CD40 - no positive tests, but today my behaviour has led two people at work to ask if I'm pregnant.
I've felt waves of nausea for the last few mornings, hot and very clammy, headaches and exhausted (asleep at 9:30pm) and very emotional (burst into tears talking to a colleague today, no reason at all - nothing even to cry about as it goes. She looked a bit worried.) And the anger too, absolute rage at some perceived slight the other day.
I have found the miscarriage strangely harder now than at the time - I think it's because if all things had been equal I'd be well on my way by now, but I'm not.
I am sure it's all in my head, but how have i become a weeping, nauseous wreck? I'm not like that, I'm a clever capable girl and somehow this week is flooring me. I suspect I've developed super PMS - has anyone else felt like this? I don't like it one bit and if I AM pregnant, please don't tell me I'd be like this the whole time - because frankly it's awful.

Poor you Cat. Certainly sounds similar to pg symptoms (which aren't like that the whole time).

But negative tests - how weird! When did you last test? How long is your cycle normally?

I tested this morning - negative (I checked as I thought I might need to go near an Xray today....) Cycles are 32 days, up from a solid 28. I feel terrible.

So you're 8 days late? It's certainly possible to be pg but get negative tests.

You could ask your GP for a blood test.

I'm on CD38 so not far behind you. The only positive explanation I can think of is that we ovulated late and then conceived. Fingers crossed anyway.

I might do that Alibaba, I think I was venting as much as anything else. I am 8 days late and still having pg tests as blank as blank can be. Thanks for reassuring me that I won't feel this wretched all the time should I find myself pregnant!

Lalaland - it's ridiculous isn't it? I wonder if that could have happened too......I suppose only time will tell!

Have you taken an opk? I'm on cd39 and just got a positive ovulation test!

I have irregular periods due to pcos, but get all those symptoms when I'm overdue. It's vile, but I presume just do to hormones being out of kilter (technical eh?)

I was really bad once my periods eventually returned after breastfeeding, but it has settled down now.

So I'm no real help, but you're not mad. When it lingered on, I took provera to induce a bleed, (left over from fertility treatment) but not sure that's recommended..
