Hi all, I'm new to the forums and have read lots of articles, but just wanted to ask about others experience. I have a 5 yo ds and was on the pill a long time before having him (microgynon). Periods went very regular after coming off pill and conceived within 6 months. After having him, I had the coil and again regular periods, although I wasn't really tracking. Then went onto Loestrin and had rubbish cycling since, I did mention it to nurse but didn't seem concerned. Now been off pill since may and cycle still not settled, it's varied between 21 days and 34 days. Thought it had started to settle and then this month, I've got major pms and light bleeding starting 7 days before period due. Has anyone else had this, any advice on working out when I'm actually fertile and should I see GP? I'm 36, but hoping it's not my hormones receding early. I only had thenough coil removed coz of very heavy periods, but at least I knew where I stood, definitely a case of careful what you wish for! Thank you.

Use an app like fertility friend. Take your basal body temp (waking temp). Use opks. Combined, you will be able to pinpoint the day you ovulate.

Bleeding (very light) about a week before af could be implantation bleeding.

Thanks for the advice. I've downloaded fertility friend, I've not heard of that one before. I don't think it is implantation bleeding, I thought it might be, but used an early testing kit and it was negative and it's been daily since last Wednesday. If I don't have a proper bleed after next Wednesday then I'll test again.
