I feel like i cant bear one more day of not being a mum or mum to be. My period has not returned since the pill so effectively we are not even trying yet. I cant stand one more person telling me they are pregnant. I work with kids so its there to face every day. I just wanted a virtual hug as my husband cant stand me going on about it.

EJ I've got a hug for you, I know exactly how you feel. Tonight we have to go and stay with my PIL for the weekend and we'll be seeing my baby nephew for hours on end with everyone talking non stop about babies.

Hey EJ I'm sorry to hear you're struggling.

How long have you been waiting for your period?

There is a drug called norethisterone that is used to delay periods, however it can also be used to kick start them as I've used this when coming off the pill to bring my period on.

Basically you take the tablet three times daily for about ten days then stop taking them and your period should come three or so days later.

They are mainly used to delay periods for people on holiday etc but they definitely work for me to bring my period on too.

You can ask your doctor about it or you can buy them from boots pharmacy but you'd probably have to make up the fact that you need to delay your period for holiday if you bought from boots as doubt they're licensed to sell for other reasons. Hope that helps

Big hugs EJ Flowers I'm not quite in the same boat as for me AF has been a relentless monthly visitor - but I feel the same about not being a mum or mum to be. This morning my best friend sent me videos of her little twins taking their first steps and it made me want to cry!
