Hi, I am looking for a little advice or perhaps some hopeful positivity from someone who may have experienced similar to me and have ended up with a bfp. My period is now 10 days late and I have taken two pregnancy tests (the last on Monday) and both showing negative. Yesterday I had some very light spotting (only when wiping after I'd peed! Sorry tmi!) and the same today. I have some cramping too similar to period pain. My cycle is usually pretty spot on so I have no idea what's going on. I don't track ovulation etc so I don't know if/when I ovulated last - is it possible that this is really late implantation? Can implantation happen after you've missed a period? I also feel a little sick...in waves! But this could be me symptom spotting!

As you can possibly tell from my rambling I am freaking out as I really want to be pregnant.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi Nanny, can't our bodies be so confusing?! Sorry you're stressed with it all. Have you stopped taking contraception the past few months? I stopped taking mine and had a couple of regular cycles then the same thing happened to me, I was diagnosed with pcos which I'm now getting help for. Hopefully that's not the case for you though. I'd suggest if you don't have a period or a positive by the end of the week pop & see your GP. Fingers crossed for you Flowers

Hi thanks for your reply danigrace - I've woken up this morning to still no period and very slight pink tinge when I wipe again. I haven't taken the pill since April last year although have only been ttc with dh since April this year so I don't really think it can be to do with contraception 😢. I'm sorry to hear about your pcos - there are lots of positive pregnancy stories on here for people who have it so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Flowers .

Well AF appeared and has been so so painful. I am feeling a lot better now but the pain was horrendous. No idea what is going on with my body. Think I might book an apt with the doctor to discuss the pain anyway as there is no way i’d have coped if I was working today. Blush

Sorry to hear that but at least you're not in limbo. I'll probably be a long one but hopefully a good reboot to your cycle xx
