TTC this month

Hi everyone,
Just after a little bit of advice. After a positive ovulation stick on day 16 of my cycle, we DTD the following day. We DTD every other day since my period ended but the ovulation sticks were only positive on CD16. I am now day 27 of my cycle and the last few days I have been feeling very bloated and have had sharp abdominal pains and have felt very gassy and uncomfortable (I don't normally have such stomach complaints). After inputting this information into my Ovia app is says that these complaints can be common in early pregnancy. I did a pregnancy test this morning (the cheap ones from eBay) which was negative. My cycle usually lasts 29-30 days. If we had luck this month would it be showing as a positive by now?!
Feeling anxious and impatient :( xx

Well if your using cheap tests it would be negative wouldn't it. With cheap tests only show positive after your period or in my case after 5 weeks of pregnancy

Hello ahsan,
Thanks for your reply! I was advised that the ones from eBay usually detect pregnancy hormones earlier than the clear blue tests etc.
My period isn't due for another couple of days but I've read that it can show positive up to 5 days beforehand.
With the symptoms I think I'd convinced myself I was pregnant but now that I've seen a negative test I feel like that's it for this month :( xx

I use first response. I used that with my daughter one day before my period and with this pregnancy I used it two days before my period and got the result. Don't trust any other brand. I got super drug pregnancy tests and they where both faulty, rubbishy really. With my first pregnancy with my son found out after a whole week of testing due to cheap 1 pound tests. Try first response if you think your pregnant.

Ok thank you! I shall try those then. Quite a few people on here seem to recommend the eBay ones that's why I bought those. It's horrible not knowing and waiting to see what if, isn't it xx

Yes lol. I did test 4 days with first response and burst into tears because it was negative hahahaha. But I knew I was pregnant because had same signs I had with my son and daughter . Enlarged veins on Hands and also on my chest and other signs was checking it until I got my period, everyone thought I was nuts hahaha but I know my body and knew I was and my BFP confirmed it

Do you still have to test early in the morning with the first response tests or can you use those anytime during the day?
