just wondering how long before my cycle kicks in again.

i had a tfmr following a diagnosis of a foatal abmormality. still trying to come to terms with that and its only been 1 1/2 weeks but im wondering when my system will get back to normal?

my boobs have only just stopped hurting. the bleeding has just about stopped (ish)

wondering how long before a normal period and some normality in my body?

Sorry for your loss.

I had a loss at 13 weeks to and found that I went straight back into a 28 day cycle. However, that was an IVF pregnancy so there were lots of other hormones involved, I'm not sure if it will be the same with a normal pregnancy.

thank you.

so did you cycle kick straight back in? how long before you had a period following the loss?

It was like the day of the loss was day one of my cycle really. It literally just kicked straight back in. 28 days after the loss, there was my period. The first period after was longer and heavier than normal.

With the caveat that it might be different for me because my 12.5 week MC was "natural"... first period was a bit under six weeks later, but second has come around after only 23 days, so my body's still sorting itself out, I think.

I was in a similar position. Took what seemed like ages for period to return. Something like 10 weeks. I actually had acupuncture, which I really think helped. Back to normal cycles now though. I know it's hard.

very variable then it seems. im wondering if my age will be a factor and my body will just be confused.
