Hi all, It's taken a while, but I've convinced my DP that we should head to the drs when we both have some time off work later in the month.
We have been ttc for 21 cycles and have had zero luck. I have previously been told that I have a distended uterus and that may make conception more difficult. In addition to this, both my partner and I are overweight- trying to loose weight.
I've booked an appointment with a family planning dr at my own GPs.I just wanted to know what your own experiences with this are? Are there any questions I should (or shouldn't ask). Anything I should take or mention.
TIA Flowers

I would ask for day 3 and day 21 blood tests (though day 21 tests should be done 7 days before your period is due, they're only referred to as day 21 as it's based on a 28 day cycle) these will look at your hormones and see if you're ovulating properly/if you have any hormonal imbalances.
You could also ask for a referral to a fertility clinic but they may be unable to treat you if your BMI is over 30.
I would also make sure you mention your existing problems with your uterus.
Good luck!
