Implantation bleeding?

Hi. We've been trying to conceive for around two weeks now. This morning I noticed brown blood on my pad. I normally get severe period pain but this time I've had nothing. Could this be implantation bleeding?
Thanks x

Hi Bex
You haven't said how many dpo you are or if AF was due or this is before AF due. I've heard that anything different in terms of AF/spotting is a possibility! Wait and see what happens, if it's mostly brown and not proper AF flow then it could be implantation! Some people test as early as 8dpo, it's hard to wait but I do think it's better to wait until at least day before AF would be due

Hi MrsGsnow,
Thanks for your advice. I have a really irregular cycle so it's hard for me to tell. The first day of my last AF was 6th may. I just really don't know what to think! I am just going to keep all my everything crossed that in a couple of weeks I get a BFP!! X

I know what that's like, mine are pretty irregular too and just when I think I have it Sussed there'll be some crazy change!
i hope AF stays away for you and you get your BFP!

So, I have an update(ish)! The spotting stopped on Saturday, that makes 3 days in total. I did a test yesterday but it was BFN Sad However I've had really bad wind, sorry tmi, and have been hung a lot. I don't feel unwell though. I've also had a headache for the past two days. Do you think there is any chance I could be pregnant?

If it was implantation bleeding, you'd need to wait for around seven days before you get a BFP because implantation bleeding takes place around 6-12 days after conception. If it happened around 6days after ovulation it's best to wait until you're period would be due.

Yeah, implantation bleeding to very very fait bfp was 5 days. That faint line is now 6months old and about to wake for a feed!

Hi ladies, I haven't done another test but today and yesterday my nipples have become really sore. They look a little darker to me and DH too. Is this just me clutching at straws or is it worth me doing another test?
Thanks xx

If you've still not had a period and the earlier bleeding was implantation then it is worth doing a test as if you were pregnant it would likely be positive now and if it's negative then it's likely PMT. good luck x

Hi Blondie I've not tested yet. I don't know if I should do one now or wait until the morning. What do you think? Xx

Not to put a dampener on your efforts Bex but please bear in mind that it can take a while to get pregnant. TTC is exciting (in many waysWink) but try not to let it be all-consuming as it can become very stressful if it does take some time, which in turn may reduce your chances. Also remember that pregnancy symptoms can be very similar to pre-menstrual symptoms (nature is cruel!)
Keep enjoying life as it is now, relax and you never know!

Sorry to hear that. Yes Chalky is right, ttc is an emotional roller coaster and I know it's easier said than done (been there) but try and incorporate ttc into your life without it taking over. It's consuming and heartbreaking but do try and enjoy life too x
