Hi all

I am meant to be at a trampoline fitness class tonight. I am 5/6 days PO. I do not want anything to effect implantation. Should I risk the bouncing, burpee, ab exercising trampoline fitness class or should I be taking it easier and doing walking, swimming etc. Panicking abit as this is completely new to me and don't know what to worry about and what is fine. What would you do?

My friend has been doing boogie bounce for months and months. She's now 15 weeks pregnant and is still doing (modified) it.

Maybe contact the instructor before the class and ask what they think. I imagine it is perfectly safe though. Is it a usual exercise you do? They do say carry on exercising when you're pregnant but don't take on anything new

I did spinning, running and weight lifting for 7+ hours a week during the 2ww. I'm now 15+3 with DC1.

Maybe go for lower impact exercise just for your peace of mind though. It's not worth it if it causes you stress.

I don't see why it would be a problem, plus you miss so much when you're actually pregnant- dont sacrifice your life during the 2ww, it's not worth it.

Don't do it. Having done the 2ww X 4 it's so distressing if it doesn't work that it's not worth doing things that you may later 'blame' if the 2ww doesn't go your way. I find it hard to believe that your consultant would suggest a trampoline class is a good option but by all means check, with the consultant not the trampoline instructor!

To update you all I didn't go. I went for a fast uphill walk instead. I am now so desperate to be pregnant I don't want to blame myself if it doesn't work out this month.

I think you'd have been fine but it sounds like if you'd found out you are not pregnant in 2 weeks you'll always wonder if it was because of that class (been there) so probably sensible if not necessarily physically then mentally.

Fingers crossed for you op
