Hoping for lots of good news in June 😊

We saw baby this week! Looks like he or she will be arriving for New Year's! Enjoying the tenth week now and no longer as worried about my total lack of symptoms!

Glad to hear you're well Mimi, hi everyone else.

Recurrent UTIs!!!

So GP couldn't see me until Thursday... which is a bummer!!

We dtd last night and my temp spiked a bit this morning (0.2 degrees)... So I think we've done what we can! Lots of pain - could be ov or just because I have a raging bladder infection!!!!

This has all come about slightly earlier than planned! DH and i were going to wait until July/Aug to try but a weekend of 'getting carried away/fun' over what happened to be my ovulation now has me over thinking every little twinge and I am convinced something is going on in there, and I now desperately want to be pregnant'

You did well physics - at least u know u did your best this month considering you were poorly.

Summer- no I'm a week behind you as I was waiting for AF to arrive for ages with my irregular cycles. Just a couple of days after tee & Jem.

Going camping on my most fertile day so either the kids will need headphones or we will need to go and explore the woods! This is going to be tricky wink

Gynaecologist appt this afternoon will keep u all posted.

Footprints1 Tue 31-May-16 09:20:58

Parney- that will be a good start to the new year! Pleased all was ok in the scan. Are you having any morning sickness? Lucky if you have escaped it. I had awful sickness with my boys.

physicskate Tue 31-May-16 10:12:16

Off to urgent care! Yippee!! Getting back pain so worried it is turning into a kidney infection....

On the ttc front, well, I've done my best!! And lord knows I'm suffering for it now!

Hello everyone!

Parney glad all ok

Hope you're ok Kate. Good going on the dtd! No pain no gain as they say.

I've had ovulation twinges today but still but early I think. So hopefully it's just preparing!
Dtd cd 6,8 and 11 so far.

I'm keeping pretty chilled about it to be honest but when it does cross my mind I just feel sick and nervous about the whole thing... Really hoping we have some BFPs soon xxx

raddersmrs Tue 31-May-16 13:46:40

Can't believe I put I was 27! I wish .... I'm 29

SuchaJem Tue 31-May-16 14:05:35

Similar to you radders - feel a bit more chilled generally but feel sick at thought of getting my period in a few weeks.

Slightly darkening OPK today - nowhere near positive but luteinising hormone is building. DH back home tomorrow.

Hope you are alright Kate!

physicskate Tue 31-May-16 14:26:34

I'm ok. Thanks radders and jem. Got some TTC safe antibiotics. Nitrofurantoin??

Weirdly, I actually am in less pain now that I know something is being done to help. Call it the placebo effect? I should probably see gp anyway about them recurring. Twice in two months? Outrageous!

I too just had a positive opk again, I think the surge happened last night as the test line is just as dark as the control - the test yesterday evening was slightly darker. Ideally, I would dtd again tonight, but I think my foof has had enough!!

Lucy1308 Tue 31-May-16 19:27:09

Just read through this part of your thread and have to add- kate look into D-Mannose. I have a serious recurrent UTI issue (I have had 20 in the last year!!) and they can't find anything wrong with me physically mentally might be a different kettle of fish. I haven't had one for over 3 months now and all I've changed is cutting down on alcohol (which I didn't drink a lot of anyway, maybe 4 units a week max!) and taking two D-Mannose tablets before bed, occasionally s few more if I feel a bit like it might be happening!! When I had my last UTI I was taking 2 tablets every time I took my Nitrofurantoin. I buy my tablets off eBay and despite the massive size of them they are brilliant wonder pills!!

May as well give you my stats whilst I'm here smile

8dpo!

Appear to have had two LH surges this time since coil came out in April. Trying to be relaxed failing miserably but just waiting for AF to show really so I can hit the reset button!!

Anyway go forth and buy D-Mannose- all of you!! I speak from about 15 years of experience with the damned things here. It will be your saviour!! grin

Footprints1 Tue 31-May-16 19:27:59

Physic - I've been on them before for UTI, they actually make your wee bright yellow /green colour. So don't panic if u see that! smileglad you are feeling a bit better.

Radders- hey I wish I was 27! grinalso trying to be chilled this month but it's not quite working out that way.

So gynae appt went well, - I'll try to be brief-he doesn't think menopause..laughed (in a nice way) at my impressive temp chart/and number of opks! Thinks cycle needs a kick up the ass (his words), Wants to start me on norethisterone (to induce AF cd28) then clomid (to induce ovulation). Bloods to be taken beginning of next period, then bloods again after ovulation. Appt booked after all that to see what is what.

So hoping this will work..

Footprints1 Tue 31-May-16 19:31:01

Welcome Lucy!
Another long cycler like me. Hope your AF comes soon. Mine took 50 days!

Summerblush1982 Tue 31-May-16 19:39:57

So clearly I'm out of fertile week. Had some really running discharge. Never experienced this on my last few cycles. What does this mean? Could my fertile window be wrong? Confused.com. Sorry for tmi.

raddersmrs Tue 31-May-16 20:05:47

Summer running in what way? Is it clear or creamy?

I've got loads of egg white mucus tonight! Not had this much or even egg white before so seeing it as a good sign. I should really dtd tonight shouldn't I with that? We did it yesterday but thinking should do it again. Don't want to do it too much after last month that didn't work

Footprints1 Tue 31-May-16 20:07:22

Summer-I had loads of cm last month after ovulation. Is it stringy and EWCM or just watery or creamy?Maybe do another opk now to see what it's saying? Or could it be left over swimmers coming down?
Think lots of creamy cm after ovulation is a good thing!! So fingers crossed.

Summerblush1982 Tue 31-May-16 20:29:42

Thanks Radders, Footprints.
It's white and watery in consistency. Not thick.
I should do another opk, didnt think of that. Might Dtd again tonight before hubby goes away for work. According to Ovia I could potentially test tomorrow with FR! I want to refrain and wait, hope I can hold out! Other than that, no other symptoms. :-)

Summerblush1982 Tue 31-May-16 20:41:07

So I've just done an opk. A second line has appeared but rather faint. Can you see it? What does this mean?

Summerblush1982 Tue 31-May-16 20:43:49

It's getting darker. Probably not as clear in pic but it's there.

Summerblush1982 Tue 31-May-16 21:14:43

Sorry to bombard, here's another half hour or so later.
