Strange offerings from FRER test

Hi ladies

This is my first post on here, I really need some help!!

Some background - went on holiday last week, think I was gearing up to ov end of the week before and ov'd sometime early last week. BD'd accordingly

I am a bit of a compulsive tester, so I've been completely going OTT with it. I just can't control myself!

Anyway - I woke up this morning and trotted off to pee on my first stick of the day, a trusty FR. I couldn't believe it when 2 lines popped up, one faint but deff there.

I have had this before - they've usually been squinters and have faded after about 20 minutes and meant nothing sadly. I kept this one and it is still there now! A little fainter but still there.

I then thought, because of the faded ones that id double check it with another one (or 3 ) throughout the day - I didn't get anymore bfps...

I'm now completely disheartened thinking that it is just the most evil false positive that there ever was and I'm just about ready to give up.

Could I be but hormones are too low, diluted pee? Please help...

The FMU is likely to be stronger so I'd still have some hope. I know how difficult it is but try to wait until tomorrow morning or even the morning after and test again.

Thanks OddBoots, I'm so desperately hoping that tomorrow will bring good news... I'm getting very down from all of the bfns that have followed!

I'm also hoping that if the test was a dud, that is might be too early for my BFP anyway! I'd only be 7/8dpo after all

9.5dpo is the earliest I've ever had a definite positive (from 5 pregnancies - 3 of them IVF surrogacy so very accurate timing). I have my fingers crossed for you.

The 1st pic I can see a nice pink line. 2nd pic is a squinter but I can still see one. Try not to test too much. Whenever I get my bfp I leave it at that, just the one HPT, you'll drive yourself crazy lol.

Thanks Jodie! I so want to be excited, I'm just so worried that I haven't had anymore bfps that it's ruined it for me and it doesn't count in my head now!! So stupid... I wish I'd taken the digi I had when I got it this morning, I think it would have put my mind at rest more... I'll see what the morning brings I guess!

Just an update - bfn this morning!

I honestly think that was a false positive - rare but can happen I guess!! The test was in date and everything... So sad.

Sorry to hear it but there is still hope this cycle, it is still early days. Fingers crossed for you.
