Hello everyone,

I have been spared line based woes up to now (Cycle 4) - as my period plays ball. This month, it does not.

No tender boobs, quite nauseous, no pre-period weight gain. Two days late - and THIS (not very exciting).

I used a FRER because thats all Amazon could deliver at short notice and I'm not convinced but wondered of anyone sees anything? Not a big fan of FRER but nothing has gripped me as a good choice. If you don't that's ok - I'm probably 16 dpo (OPKs aren't happening as it caused arguments).

If this is in the wrong place please tell me - but appreciate your time :)

Hi Cateroo, in the same boat as you. I can't see a line but good luck anyway.

Maybe something faint in the first photo? How long after the test was the first photo taken? Can you get hold of a Superdrug test? They're meant to be quite reliable. Good luck!

Hi Magpie - yeah, I'm not so sure to be honest and won't get my hopes up - it was taken about 5 minutes max after and then straight in the bin!
Superdrug here I come!

Hang on, I see one!

It's faint, but I'm pretty sure it's there.

Try again in a couple of days and come back and tell me I'm right. Grin

I'm just not certain it has much colour to it - I've bought some Superdrug ones for tomorrow's ritual. Going to hold off the cocktails tonight just in case :)

I reckon you've just OVd later than you thought. You're probably 10dpo ish instead of 16 worth a faint line like that.

My similarly coloured line is currently singing the wheels on the bus in the bath. Grin

I see something. I reckon that if its negative they tend to be stark white. Good luck! Come back and let us know x

Hi Cateroo. I see a faint line in both.. and believe me I've looked at A LOT of these tests. I would be optimistic if I were you! Do another tomorrow or Monday - bet it'll be a lot stronger then

Have you tested today cateroo?

Report
DocMcFanjo · 22/05/2016 07:00

I can see a verrrry faint line too. I think I ovulate late as my BFPs (1 sleeping beside me, 1 still doing time in the inside) have been faint at first and often taken a good few minutes to appear.

I'd have expected something more than this - it's very light/probably nothing and is certainly no darker!

I can see something! although I would think at 17dpo it would be darker, are you sure of your ov date? Can you get a different type of test today? Good luck Flowers

No, I have no idea of my ovulation date. I tried using OPK sticks and it made me pretty miserable. I last BD two weeks ago so I can't imagine this is going anywhere. I want my next cycle!

If I invert it I can see a tiny change of colour but it's so faint I wouldn't want to bet on it. I always found internet cheapies the best for early tests.

Report
Cateroo · 22/05/2016 11:21

I'm going to leave it a week now - it's unlikely to be positive and I suppose it won't change anything now!
