Amy i do mine orally around the same time before I get up. If doing it the other way then it's always higher than orally would be!

I'm alright, a lot of breast pains this month which never happens, as well as stabbing in ovaries, I guess wait and see.

Hello all

Quick place marking on the new thread! All ok here. I think anyway. Have had some very light spotting last couple of days. It's 5.5 weeks since m/c so could be AF. Hopefully it won't turn out to be some kind of retained something... I don't have any AF symptoms but I know this next AF is likely not to play by the usual rules. I guess I'll find out for sure in the next couple of days... Hmm

Well hello. Been on holiday and super busy at work so apologies for once again being barely present on thread 4. However, I'm in now.

AF finally turned up day 98, just as we got on holiday so that was a fun treat. Luckily only a UK holiday so not too big a problem. Anyway, new cycle now. Also finally have the elusive fertility clinic referral through and our first appointment next Tuesday.

Also currently considering Inositol, but not sure if it would be wise to start it just before seeing clinic for the first time? Any advice?

Mysteriousbat have you spoken to GP about no AF for such a long time? I would seriously suggest you need a hormone test doing for that length of time and something to induce a cycle Flowers

Morning all

Well AF is definitely here now, after 3 days of indecisive spotting Hmm I'm relieved as it means I can get on with trying again but slightly disappointed, even though j know it's silly, as DS was conceived directly following our first MC with no period in between. Not convinced I ovulated anyway as I had no post ov symptoms (usually get really tender boobs two weeks before AF). Hey ho! Onwards and upwards eh?

Hope everyone has had a good bank holiday and has a happy Tuesday. It's May - why is it so chilly? There's frost here (south coast of England!)

Hi all,
I was told I have pcos a year ago after a year of trying. In the last year I've had 5 af's,. We decided to stop tic #1 until after the wedding. Now the wedding is fast approaching (27th August) and I've started to start researching again. This time I've found there has been success with myo inositol and folic acid. Has anyone tried this? Tia x

Hello all!
Ttc and work drama does not mix :(
3 months on inositol here. While still negative, I feel so much better and human taking it. Be careful with dosage though, too much and it stops working.

Hi all,

shell I'm from the Cheshire area.

So bloody pissed off this morning. On CD#1 I contacted the hospital for a folicle ultrasound as requested by my gynaecologist. They said that they would get back to me. Rang back a few days later & they said that they where still trying to fit me in etc.

Rang this morning, we can't fit you in due to holidays so the doctor has said for you to phone back on your first day of your cycle ( as if they're convinced that this round of clomid is destined not to work).

Just looked at private companies which do it and is quite steap at £120 (would usually probably have managed that payment but I've got my dogs castration this month too).

Feel so hacked off by it now. I wanted this scan so much because my bleeding temping is all over the place, three opks have been negative so I can only really go on CM and sheer luck Sad

Hey,

I'm sorry I've been AWOL lately. After two weeks of unmistakeable pregnancy symptoms, I did a test and it was positive. Obviously we were extremely excited and amazed we were given a second chance so soon after our awful MMC.
Unfortunately I started bleeding only 5 hours later. This was last Saturday, so just over a week ago.
DP has changed his mind (again) about TTC. He spoke to a friend last week who scared him about childcare costs and now he's stressed because my ex isn't keeping up with maintenence. He said we just can't afford another one Sad
My mind is all over the place right now Sad

I'll probably duck out for a bit to get my head around things and hope that DP gets back to being excited about TTC again soon.

This is really quite shit.

spotsondots sorry to hear AF arrived, but new cycle, new chance and all that.

Amy bit crap about not being able to get in for the scan. Is it with a fertility clinic or just normal scanning unit?

My scan is just at the gynecology department in the general hospital xx

My temping is all over the place, I don't know what a going on with it. I've taken some advice and done the temping under the tongue in bed but it's still bouncing around all over the place. However, saying that, I'm having real issues with hot flashes during the night and mornings (side effects of the clomid) not sure if that's making a difference, or my themometre is shite

Amy When I was temping 7/8 years ago, mine were the same. Like rocky mountains. I was told it was because PCOS causes surges (in LH? Or whatever it is that triggers ovulation) but doesn't actually mean we're ovulating. It was suggested to me to stop temping. I did eventually as it was driving me bonkers after temping for months and months and not even getting a period in less than 100 days at a time.
I eventually became pregnant with DC2. It took 11 months and in the grand scheme of things that is no time at all but, when you're in the midst of it and feel like it's never going to happen while all your friends are falling pregnant exactly when they want to, it felt like an age.

If you're getting regular periods then temping might well work for you, but it didn't for me because I could make no sense of it. I also had one of those saliva test things which was a load of bollocks and waste of effort and money!

What I can say is, on a more positive note, that after having an HSG scan (where they chuck dye through your tubes to check for blockages), I fell pregnant with DS2 only about 2 weeks after. They are known for clearing minor blockages, so if you can have one of those done, then do it!

Hi all. Sorry for falling off again. Hope everyone is okay and plodding on. Have I missed any big news?

So sorry Frazzle - too much for you to be going through really. I really hope you and DP can have an honest convo and move forward with TTC - it's not very fair on you this way, stopping and starting.

Any metformin users around? It seems to have worked a treat and I ovulated around CD38 I think, which is a massive improvement for my first cycle on it. I must admit I take 1000mg more often than I take 1500mg though.

Hi all,

I am back! Feel heartbroken. Lost my baby this week. Had an early scan and baby had no heartbeat. Had stopped developing around week 7/8.

Oh Dunlin I'm so so sorry. This happened to us too about 2.5 months ago. Our LO got to around 8.5 weeks, we found out only a couple of days later at a scan that his/her little heart had stopped beating. It's fucking devastating and so unexpected. There's nothing I can say to make things easier. Just know you have so much support on here and if you want to vent go right ahead xx
