Perfect thanks tee.

Really don't think it's hcg, I think I have an ovulation issue. It keeps attempting it!!
I have higher FSH level than I should so gp referred me to a gyne which is in Thursday. I think the high level of FSH is sending the LH to go crazy. Although I am convinced I have ovulated as I get a dip then an elevated temp for 5 days. Get lots of EWCM too with tingly nipples- etc.. So don't think I'd get all this without ovulating??

I do have a FRER here but don't want to waste them as I rally think AF will happen in next day or so. I've ordered some IC hcg tests, so will wait for those. Will keep doing the opks and see if they stay positive. No EWCM at mo..

Hmmm that's confusing for you Footprints. Hopefully your specialist will be able to explain what's going on. It certainly does sound like you have had all the right signs for ovulation.
Just about to watch One Born Every Minute... tissues at the ready then! Confused

Ah Mimi, sorry to hear you feel rubbish. You know, DTD can help relieve tension headaches?! I fell really poorly towards the end of my last fertile window, it's horrible to know you're at your peak but too ill to think about it. Hope you feel better soon!
Jem! Lucky DH is back for FW, that's the most important thing. Perhaps get some 'warming up' in over the weekend Wink
BTW I've updated my test date to 21st, as I've realised I have a hen do in the evening!! xx

January, I only tested on day AF was due, tests have been dark. Only the ICs aren't as dark as test line yet. Other brands are darker.
Ah Tee it's great to have something to look forward to on test day. I felt that if I'd been given a BFN that at least I had really good plans lined up!
Mimi Headaches are tough to deal with on top of all the rest. Hope that changes soon.
Jem you'll be busy next week, thankfully he's about!

But I've a sneaky suspicion I'm dehydrated so hormone levels higher in concentrated urine. Drinking lots of water today. Relax January and don't panic, I didn't think your lines yesterday were faint!

Thanks tee and parney. Just received a call from dh and he says he is feeling poorly((meaning my chances of dtd at the right time is not likely))

I think the graduates must write their weeks too as they begin their posts, that will keep us all in the know Grin

So I've just sent FF into meltdown because I've had a very very very close to being positive OPK, so I will test again this evening to see if it's darker... or it might be on the way down. I only had a super faint line yesterday. So gonna text OH to let him know what to expect tonight!! Will keep temping to confirm, but it might happen tomorrow or day after... Which would mean I would be testing earlier, more like 10th if AF doesn't show before then...

Mimi I have no idea what I will do if he says he's too tired! I think I might get a little mental!!! Think someone else mentioned they were getting a wee bit aggressive with all this TTC and broodiness.

Footprints how very confusing??!! Hopefully doc will have answers for you....

footprints what is FSH? If you don't mind me asking, that is! Your symptoms are sounding very preggoed to me. Are you sure you don't want to break the seal on your FRER? Smile

mimi hope your headache shifts! Hopefully your hubby will get the hint later ha!

It is hard to make dtd seem non-enforced in the fw haha!

Report
SuchaJem · 27/04/2016 17:52

mimi perhaps some 'get well soon' sex?

physics aggro for sure. DH is now used to sex on demand! Although I do still get complaints "this feels so forced!" etc. Shaddup and get on with it Smile

Hi racja! Get on it!

Report
physicskate · 27/04/2016 17:55

Jem if I could 'like' that comment, I would! This is still a bit new for us (being cycle #1 and all), so not quite sure how he will react to that!

Report
Racja14 · 27/04/2016 17:58

Sucha my DH says exactly the same about it being forced!! I tell him he'd soon be complaining if we weren't doing it! Tried to explain to him that at my age I need to do everything I can to give us the best chance of conceiving but he still was like 'if it happens, it happens' so now I feel like I'm sneaking around doing OPK's and eating walnuts when he's not looking Grin

Put a pillow under my bum after dtd the other day and the way he went on was ridiculous, just wait till I start putting my legs up against the wall Grin

Oh and I can't even watch OBEM when he's home as according to him he's 'seen one birth (his DD) and that's enough to last him a lifetime' 😕

Report
Footprints1 · 27/04/2016 18:33

Spread on toast- FSH is follicle stimulating hormone. It stimulates the ovaries. FSH levels can change month to month so I'm hoping it does so I can conceive. If it's too high you can be in menopause, perimenopause or just stressed! If it's too low you don't have AF or ovulate. If too high you can also not ovulate or it will be erratic.
Sometimes if you have been on pill for long time your ovaries take a longer time to wake up. If they are asleep the FSH goes into overdrive trying to do its job so therefore makes it produce too much hormone.

Ha! Jem that did make laugh!
Jeez what are all these men moaning about! My DH is very much like 'if it happens it happens'. Seems like a silly attitude to have to me when you've made a decision to TTC... I mean, if you want to bake a cake, you don't just throw a load of crap in a bowl and say 'meh, if it happens it happens', you take measurements and follow a recipe, if you want best chance of getting it right?!
My hubby told me the other day he wouldn't care if it happened now or in 6 months, charming!! (although secretly I wish I could feel like that). I definitely have to save OBEM for when I'm home alone, he'd think I was a lunatic if he knew I shed a tear for every birth! Can't help it! Confused

Mimi- definitely some get well sex. Play nurse! Wink

Racja- you can't win, when we want it they don't ! when they want it.. They get it anyway! Totally unfair. Oh my DH won't watch one born every min either.

So here comes the EWCM.. Think I'm in for a long long cycle. If I can't ovulate effectively it will just keep on trying.. And I'll be exhausted from dtd every week until it happens! Sad have cramps too. Weird! Not testing yet. Will wait see what my temp does tomorrow. It dipped this morn so I guess if it goes up again it's ov again!?!???

Ha ha Tee love the cake analogy, I'll have to remember that one! I'm sure they play that music on OBEM when they deliver just to make me cry!

Those are some impressive ovaries footprints. Really hope you catch at least one of those lil eggs!

DH will not watch OBEM either. He gets all squirmy and starts looking at his phone.

racja haha mine would be scornful of pillow under bum / feet up the wall too. Needs must!

To be honest he's seen me cry a few times now when AF comes, so I think that might be why he is complaining less about the aggro sex.
