About two months ago I had spotting a week before period was due and then had no period. I started to feel under the weather loads of aches and pains sickness and heart burn. I did a pregnancy test which was positive then about a week later I did another one because I was anxious and couldn't get in to see a doctor but the result was negative, I was very confused but symptoms was getting worse so wanted to see a doctor more than ever ( but on average 3 week wait) I've just missed my second period and still having issues and wondering what to do next? Is there a chance in pregnant or not?

Have you taken another test bubbles? You can get a false negative but v unlikely to get false positive so I'm inclined to believe the first test and ignore the second. Also you haven't had a bleed so an early miscarriage seems unlikely. I would test again (personally I test several times but it's probably not necessary) and try and get in to see your doctor if it's still negative. Hope that helps.

In fact even if it's positive at least get a phone call with your doctor as your likely to be 8+ weeks and will need to be referred to a midwife asap.

So I just called my doctor and they are releasing early morning appointments this evening and said I can definitely have one. On way home from work I will also pick up a pregnancy test and update you. Thank you

Hi sorry for late reply

So I took a test and this is what happened? Why are there lines going across like that it's not normal I don't think lol I was booked in with my doctor Thursday morning. Would I be completely ridiculous to go and see my doctor and ask for advice?

The test looks negative to me because there's only one line but don't understand the line across and I don't understand why I haven't had a period for two months etcSad

Hi, That test does look negative I'm sorry. The horizontal line is just a dye run. Did it dry with it still there? If so I would do another test in case it's faulty.

Are you normally very regular and not come off any birth control recently?

Definitely still go to the doctors and tell them your concerns. They may want to do other tests to rule out pregnancy or investigate further.

Yes I'm very regular and haven't had a period in 2 months and have been off birth control for a year. I saw a gynaecologist before endometrial hyperplasia and spoke to them about pregnancy and miscarriages that I've had but they said I'm still young so should just keep trying alone.

That rules out birth control messing with your cycles then.

Definitely go to drs hun and see what's they say. I really hope your just one of those women who don't get positive tests but are actually pregnant Grin X
