Woke up this morning at silly o'clock, wee'd and went back to bed for 45 minutes.

Then realised it was actually test day.
Shit
Pee'd in a pot (bastard thing is the source of negatives)
Dipped a cheapie
Mmm
Dipped another cheapie (yes in the same wee!)
Fuck is that a really faint...
Dipped a midstream in
Negative

So. I have a clear blue expensive one for tomorrow
But I can't sleep...

I pee'd, I doubted, I'm "clear blue digi" in the morning.

What the hell do I do now?!!
Do I make an appt to see a dr or a nurse?
How much tea am I allowed to drink a day?
What are the rules?

Oh sweet hell after trying for 6 months I feel I should have done more research!!! Blush

Eeeeek exciting times for you!!

I was told to make an appointment at the docs, but at this stage there's no urgency unless you specifically want to go early... I believe they will refer you to your midwifery services to get your booking in appt sorted before (I think) around 8 weeks and later down the line your scan dates. Your midwife will be happy to answer any questions you have, any at all. Tea - cutting down caffeine is a good idea generally so I think I would stick to no more than 2 or 3 a day. I recommend a book called 'what to expect when you're expecting'. Check out the foods you are supposed to avoid (or limit) also, although I think common sense comes in here!

Congratulations again!

There's nothing shocking to on the "no" list except pink meat Sad (how did our mothers know all of this stuff before the web?!)

Good to hear there's no rush to make the appt. I've still not told them I'm married so should dig out the cert to change my name with them too!
And then change Dr's to one in my county (we moved)

OMG!

Here you don't need a GP appt, just ring and self refer to MW. You should get a 'booking in' appt at 8-10 wks pg then a scan around 12-13w. What's your due date? Are you coming to join us in Dec Mums or are you due in Jan '17?

Oh, and congratulations!

According to the magical internet calculator I am due on 30th December.

Holy fuck that's a Christmas present and a half!!!

I am also convinced that being pregnant has made me farty and that if is nothing to do with whatever I was eating last night.
