New to mumsnet & New(ish) to TTC

Hi all
My husband and I have been trying for 5months now. I have a 5 year old from a previous relationship.
I was told a year past in October that I have PCOS, but now that I have moved I want a second opinion as I don't seem to have the irregular periods associated with this.
Does anyone else have PCOS? And how did you find out?!
Also...this around one week ago I had period like cramps and backache (today according to my app I am due AF in 3 days) and last week I also twice had creamy discharge with the faintest pink colour in it.
Now I have absolutely none of the usual AF symptoms with 3 days to go. Anyone had this before?
As you can probably tell from my rambling I am driving myself crazy, and hubby is working away so nobody to talk to
