I'm actually working my birthday lol but going out for a meal over the weekend and going to see the new captain America when it's out. Don't particularly celebrate getting older these days. I'm overweight too and got pcos so trying to kick some extra weight, but other than the sickness bug I've had in yet to be successful!

Hiya, I think I'll be better on this bus as we've missed the April ovulation chance and my next fertile window is another three weeks, so not due on until May 15. My DH and I had agreed late April would be the time we started trying.

We did DTD last night and DH said 'maybe let's just see what happens' but I don't think he is as aware of ovulation as I am!

We are sometimes quite lazy about actually getting the deed done as we work long hours and have v stressful jobs. So my aim is to drastically increase our amount of time in bed while I wait for the next ovulation window and our first try! Good luck all xx

I've gone a bit overboard researching fertility aids online, I keep getting Amazon packages delivered with Preseed lubricant, cough syrup (thins your CM), OPK tests, Pregnacare, royal jelly etc!

Am also trying to eat healthily though the pizza for dinner last night definitely wasn't and eat lots of things like spinach and apricots to help get good nutrition.

Broody here's hoping you'll be able to dodge the Clomid and it'll happen for you, but we're here if not!

Hi everyone, think I need to hop on board. I was trying to avoid the buses as when I ttc #1 I got rather obsessive about it all so have been trying to keep off the conception boards (even though I know you are all lovely!!) and just be relaxed (hahahaha). But I came on today so it's cycle 5 now for me. We conceived DS on cycle 3 so I'm feeling a bit blue to be honest. I never imagined it would take this long (naive I know) and as each month passes I guess I'm just sad at the increasing age gap. Apologies for the pity party...hopefully inhaling my last Easter egg will cheer me up!!

Everdene I'm taking 75mg aspirin, use lubricant, was temping but haven't had much sleep with DD being really poorly so not done it this cycle.
Also trying to eat healthy! Chinese tonight but it's Saturday lol.

Lolly I got obsessed to start but cycle 10 now, losing hope so jot on as often. DD was a complete surprise so I'm really down now! Fx for us all that we won't be on June bus xx

Can I join, It's my first time joining a bus. We decided to Ttc back in December and this is our third month trying as for two months we actively tried not to get a bfp ( turns out we can do that very well).

This month I'm temping. Last month ovia changed my FW so I missed it as I was working away. Grrr. Do not want to miss this month.

My Amazon basket has so many Ttc items sat waiting to be bought. if anyone in RL saw my recommended items they would be as I'm not the maternal type.

Currently deciding whether to buy the FSH test for next month or wonder if it will scare the hell out of me. Anyone every tried a home test kit?

I'm finally properly on a bus. It took 4 months of waiting and finally a hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic but finally my coil is out

I'm still recovering from having my coil out but as I'm CD 7 and don't ovulate until CD 18 it's all looking good.

Well AF has decided to pay a visit - I knew it was on its way as we hadn't DTD during the window. But it now means my fertile window is over my wedding anniversary.

It feels geeky but I'm a tiny bit excited about the prospect of being able to try a few days sooner than I thought!

I'm planning the "sods law" approach. With my first I wasn't sure how long it would take me to get pg so I came off the pill in January before my wedding in May and was pg for the wedding and honeymoon (couldn't drink in a lovely all inclusive hotel with amazing cocktails).

We are going on holiday to France at the end of May. If I conceive this cycle it means no wine and stinky cheese for me, and if not I can drown my sorrows.

I've been warned it might take a bit of time as I've had a mirena in for nearly 5 years. I can hope though. January would be a good time to start mat leave. I haven't saved enough to cover mat leave yet though so the longer it takes me the more I'll have saved (which would be good as I hope to reduce my hours a bit when I go back.)

I'm tying to see the positive in both scenarios, though I'm fingers crossed for a BFP soon.

Im cd9, usually ov around cd16/17 however since AF ive had ewcm (AF was like ewcm mixed with blood...sorry tmi) and ive had cramping lower right and in lower middle of stomach (had it when expecting dd so i was hopeful but tests are all bfn) Did an opk last night only the faintest of lines so neg :(

Speaking of ewcm, I'm getting in a right panic/flap because when I was ttc a couple of years ago my cycles were textbook. Plenty of ewcm, then three days of positives on opk sticks and ovulation pain on the day of ovulation. Cycles aways 28 days, always ov'd on day 15. This time around I barely get any ewcm. I do get ovulation pain, but don't get any positives on opks! Now panicking that I don't ovulate any more

Yay I was right!

Han I only had EWCM for a single day last month which did worry me.

I think if you're not getting any results on OPKs it might be worth seeing a doctor and also testing at different times during the day? If you're still having periods it's unlikely you're not ovulating.

everdene that's a good point. Still regular periods which is reassuring. Maybe I;m just getting very short LH surges and missing them?!
