Just wondering if it was possible to ovulate while still bleeding from a miscarriage. Getting very confusing symptoms!. Would love to know other people's experiences.

I think it depends how far along you were when you miscarried. My best friend was 6 weeks, her miscarriage was a heavy period followed by ovulation two weeks later, right on time then bfp. For me, I miscarried at 13 weeks. The bleeding lasted for almost 2 weeks, lots of spotting after that. I didn't ovulate until after I'd had my next period (20 days after I passed my baby). My period was super heavy and lasted for 9 days and then I had intermittent spotting. Following that, I confirmed ovulation with a positive opk plus all of the cm signs on CD 15. It was really quite painful - much more painful than normal ovulation which twinges a bit. I had spotting during ovulation too which isn't normal for me. No bfp for me, but af this month has, so far, been very normal. Good luck to you. As hard as it is, try and give your body a few weeks to settle. Obviously you can still try, but don't put too much pressure on yourself. If you'd have told me on the 23rd of December (the day the scan revealed the baby had stopped growing) that I wouldn't miscarry until the 9th of January and that my body wouldn't even begin to get back to normal until March, I wouldn't have believed you. I always thought mc meant pain followed by loss followed by recovery - all done and dusted in a few days. I never realised it could be this long and, quite honestly, this shitty. Flowers

Sorry for the late reply. Things took a dramatic turn yesterday and ended up in hospital.
The symptoms I was having are due to retained products, I started bleeding very heavily yesterday and passed some quite large clots, so definitely wasn't ovulation.
Now got to go through more medication to try and get rid of the remaining tissue. Just when l thought things were starting to get back to normal.
Thank you for the advice tho. I appreciate it, I too never thought for a second when finding out that my babies had passed that this process would be so lengthy. I wish you the best of luck on your recovery too Flowers.
