Anyone else starting the "ttc journey" again (although I hate the pressure that the title ttc gives)?

How old is your dc1? And how did you decide you were ready to start "trying" again?

Have found it mind-boggling weighing up pros and cons of small age gaps vs big age gaps, and autumn vs spring babies. But then again, all that calculating may come to nothing!!!

Yup! Dd is 10 months and my cycle is all over the place. This is only my second since conceiving her.

10 months? fair play!

dc1 is 17 months. my thoughts re: "going again" have been hugely affected by c-section. unfortunately I had to have one with dc1 and had a really poor recovery (infection in womb, dc turned six months the week I had my first day I was pain free in my womb, nine months when I was pain free every day). My concern is that if I have to have another section, i would need dc to be walking and toilet trained.

before that, I would of been of the mindset of popping one out a year, for three or four years in a row!!!

DS is 9 months old and we may have inadvertently started trying again yesterday! I have one blocked tube so like before I am expecting it to take a while.

That c section sounds really tough. I was lucky with a fairly damage free labour as long as I forget the 101 hours of not real labour despite regular contractions every 3 minutes which has helped me feel ready sooner. Plus I regret going back to work so soon so hoping to take longer off with no2 while dd is still little!

Only just got a positive opk today so tww begins in the next day or so... it'll be March before I'm testing!

I am ttc#2 and have been since September (which is when my periods returned after giving birth). My DC is now almost 9 months old and I am in my 2ww. I also had a c section but was lucky enough that I had a good recovery.

Congratulations verticalcheese!!!!! and welcome needanewjob

So I tested again this morning, and need your advice. I swore I would NEVER turn into one of those crazy ttc ladies, squinting at ampty boxes swearing I could see a line!!!!

I normally use Clearblue (digital, so it tells you pregnant or not, no question about it; costs a fortune though!) AF due Sat. Tested Tues and Wed (four and three days early, both bfn's). Hadn't planned to test again until Sat. But gut instinct told me to test today. Drove down to local chemist and bought Lloyds cheapy (has lines, not digital).

My question is (because I didn't stop and have a good look at it before using, just used it straight away).......... does the white box have a really faint pink line, before you test?, which then gets a darker pink after testing?

I think, there is the faintest of pink lines in the test box (square), but am unsure if it really is one, or just where would get pink if the test was positive. I hope this makes sense?!! I've taken a couple of pics, but am crap with technology. Will try and upload them now, but it could take me a minute of two. Any advice would be fully appreciated. Please be honest and tell me it's blank with no line if that's what you see!

Thanks in advance
:)

Also, I'm testing two days early. So if it was positive (which I know it probably isn't) would I expect the line to be darker?

My phone really isn't playing ball. Managed to post three pics to another thread I'm on, but it won't post on this page.
Here is the link where I posted the three pics a few minutes ago

There are three photos, one is a bit blurry, but think the other two are ok. Thanks for looking, all feedback gratefully received!!! :)
