Cycle disturbed after chemical?

Hi,

I've been ttc #2 for 2 years now. We've had all the fertility tests and everything's come back as fine, so down as "unexplained secondary infertility".

Last month we had a chemical, the first sign of a positive we've had in those 2 years. I had 4 positives on frer but consistently negative on digitals and blood tests showed hcg levels were only 16 when 4 days late. I went on to bleed on day 31 and further blood tests confirmed a loss.

My cycles used to be 28 days like clockwork, but after having a fibroid removed in July have been 24/25 day cycles.

The bleed after chemical lasted 7 days of quite heavy, painful bleeding where usually only 4 days, only 2 days of which are heavy.

I've been using clear blue digital opks and get a smiley face every month, but this month haven't had a positive.

I'm currently on day 28 of this cycle with no sign of af, but negative hpt.

What have other people's experiences of chemicals been? And how quickly did your cycle recover afterwards? I was told that as it was so early it really shouldn't make a difference this month, but it clearly is! So frustrating as the last thing I need is for my system to be messed up for a few months! I have an apt with my fertility specialist next month and wondering whether I should mention all this to them?

Tia!

Sorry about your chenical. It's quite normal for things to be messed up afterwards- I had one last month and not 100% convinced I ov'd this month. If things aren't back to normal next month i would mention it at the clinic to see what they say, but the cycle after chemical/miscarriage is known as the wtf cycle for a reason!

Thanks, sorry to hear about yours too.

I'm now 2 days late with no sign of af, sore boobs and severe nausea. Never wanted af to show her ugly face so much!

Now 3 days late. Nausea all weekend, sore boobs, fatigue and then fainted at work in rhe early hours this morning (working nights). Faintest of faint lines on a frer, but negative on a digital.
