Hi everyone... first time poster here.
I'm currently 13 days late on my period, I sometimes feel a little sick (although barely) I have an extreremly dry mouth, I feel constantly tired and want to nap all the time, I sometimes have mild cramping in my tummy, the top of my tummy is sore to touch, I have headaches which I never usually suffer with. I get out of breath over the slightest bit of movement. I've had no spotting.
I took 2 tests about 4 days ago and both came back negative (clear blue).
I'm so confused! I feel different in myself, I feel/look bloated and I just feel really heavy around my tummy area.
What do you ladies think? Xx

Have you had unprotected sex in the last month?

Then yes.

Buy a SuperDrug test.

Please don't waste a GP appointment. Wait a couple of days and test again.

A GP test won't tell you anything other than a test you can buy in the supermarket or wherever. You could possibly be but two negatives suggests you aren't. If don't think you need to see a GP really.

Please don't book a doctors appt it's a waste.

Buy a SuperDrug test and just wait.

Funny how you just ignore the previous advise and questions anyway.

It's definitely possible that you could be pregnant if your 2 weeks late!

Clearblue tests aren't the best to use to first confirm your pregnancy as they're not so sensitive. Here's how to test as accurately as possible if it could be of use to you :)

Test 2 days after your missed period (if you miss your period. Always use your first pee of the day. This is because pregnancy tests work by detecting a hormone called HCG in your pee that is only there when you're pregnant (unless you are taking progesterone increasing medication). There will be more HCG in your pee in the morning and so if you are pregnant you are more likely to get a positive result testing with your first pee. Also, use a First Response test as they are generally very accurate. Hold the stick downwards and only pee for the amount of seconds the instructions say. Then replace the cap and place the test on a flat surface leaving 5 minutes to develop. 2 lines is positive, even if one line is faint (it will also be pink and close to the other line).

It is possible to get a negative result even if you are pregnant as it may take a while for enough HCG is in your system for the test to pick up. If you still don't get your period after a negative result, test every 2 days in the same way.

Good luck whatever you're hoping for! x
