6 week cycle and want to ttc

Hi everyone. I came off the pill almost 2 years ago after 13 years. After 6 months had not had a period so had bloods done and all hormone levels were normal. Then another 3 months passed and did have a period. Have now been regular for past 5 periods on a 6 week cycle. But I'm now worried I might not be ovulating as I don't get any pain/notice any difference in temp. Is the next step to do some OPK sticks? Do I get these from Boots?
Does anyone else have long cycles? Apparently 6 weeks in still in the 'normal' range.....(hoping so)

I've never really been 'regular', often having gaps of 3-9 months between periods, but during 'regular' phases I've had 6-week cycles. Thought TTC would go on forever for this reason but it only took a couple of months. Good luck!

Thank you Apples. Good to hear you had success. Funnily enough I just came on my period yesterday 3.5 weeks since the last one. So I'm all over the place!

Order opk's from amazon, you can buy them in bulk for a few pounds. I've found them helpful. I also have really long cycles (I average between 37-43 days) and it's a pain in the arse trying to understand it. I ovulate a lot later than I thought (around cd 17/18) and the opk's have made it easier and less stressful marginally because I can check I am actually having an lh surge.

My sympathies though, long cycles suck, I was over the moon last week because I had a 33 day cycle, af arrived a whole 9 days earlier than I was expecting!

Mine is 35-37 days so a little shorter but on the longer side. I tracked cm for a few months while waiting to ttc and found I ovulate around day 21, and conceived in cycle 1. Opks didn't really seem to work for me.
