Laparoscopy vs IVF

Hi Everyone

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly three years. Our NHS Dr diagnosed us with unexplained so we went private to try IUI.
As we were about to start treatment, a solid cyst was found on my left ovary which they tell me could be endometriosis. I have very few symptoms.

I could do a laparoscopy to see if anythings there or opt for IVF instead. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
