Thanks Fuzzy!

I've been TTC #2 for about a year after a 4 year gap. I have low progesterone levels and I'm awaiting Day 1 and day 8 blood tests before a referral (if I can work out which days they're on). smile

TMI alert!

Spotting yesterday, today (9 dpo) a little more, red bleeding then quite a bit mid-afternoon with a small clot. After which nothing. confused Very unusual. My last two cycles have been way messed up.

sunshinegirl12 Sun 17-Jan-16 22:24:40

Oriana, was your last cycle the same then? Have you been taking anything different?

I'm 10dpo today so expecting to start spotting tomorrow, had too many period pains already to expect a BFP x

OrianaBanana Sun 17-Jan-16 22:53:17

I'm sorry sunshinegirl12

Last cycle I spotted for about 5/6 days (no cramps) at about 8dpo then that went away and about a week later I got cramps and AF showed up. I wasn't taking anything different that cycle.

I've started bleeding properly again now so I suspect this is CD1 though I'm not entirely sure (no cramps which again is unusual).

I've been taking Sanatogen mum to be this month which is the only different thing.

sunshinegirl12 Mon 18-Jan-16 09:38:54

Sorry to hear it's proper AF now Oriana, it totally sucks doesn't it.

I know that AF is on the way but stupidly I did a test this morning which was bfn, I've just depressed myself even more I can't imagine I'll ever get a BFP as its been 13 months now and nothing, I keep thinking what it will be like to have a child free life (realistically I do know theres a long way to go until we reach that stage). And the longer it goes on the more stressed and upset I'm getting which obviously isn't helping!! Just feeling totally down about it all, wish I could just go home and sulk sad

Hugs Sunshinegirl and Mrsunsure. Ttc is such a horrible emotional rollercoaster.

Really sorry AF has arrived Oriana.

Mrsunsure I managed to get pregnant once without taking anything and only DTD once in the whole month. It ended in a mmc though. After that I was determined to do everything possible and had acupuncture for fertility (I had previously been having acupuncture for various things anyway), I took Chinese herbs because my acupuncturist thought my body temperature was too low to conceive, pregnacare conception, 3000mg of evening primrose oil until ovulation and I used OPKs (both IC and Clearblue). First and only cycle that I did all of that and I conceived again, but I also did DTD a lot in that month.

sunshinegirl12 Mon 18-Jan-16 12:28:48

Mrsunsure, this might be a silly question but how did you 'keep it in'? I'm at 11dpo and no spotting yet, the last few cycles AF has started at 12dpo which is an improvement for me, I really think Pregnacare and Vitamin D has helped, and I've introduced whole organic dairy into my diet.

Fuzzy, I'm definitely going to try acupuncture, are you still having it? x

FuzzyOwl Mon 18-Jan-16 12:43:01

No sunshine I stopped just before I gave birth and didn't start again afterwards. However, I am going to begin again if I don't get pregnant this month. I can't honestly say whether it made any difference, but I did get pregnant twice whilst having acupuncture for fertility.

Is keeping it in meaning to either lie with your legs propped up against the wall afterwards or to not stand or do anything where gravity will mean the sperm comes out? I know from what I was ttc last time that some women used soft cups after DTD to keep the sperm in place. No idea whether it does anything though.

Hello just a recap from me!

TTC #1
I'm 27
DH 28

Ttc since January 2015

Have so far had two internal ultrasound scans and one external. A lot of fluid in my pelvis and a tiny left ovary. No know fertility issues yet.

Cycles are usually 32-35 days in length with a luteal phase of anywhere between 9-12 days!

Had my day 21 bloods done today in CD29 (8DPO).

No symptoms here except sore boobs which I also had last month but before that had never had before.

sunshinegirl12 Mon 18-Jan-16 17:45:09

Good news re your appt Mrsunsure smile

Had news today that am facing redundancy, as if I don't have issues with stress already!! This isn't going to help with ttc sad

mascaraisamust Mon 18-Jan-16 19:05:51

Oh no sunshine!

Gosh you ladies deserve a break!!

Hi everyone. Long time lurker here, please can I join? My stats:

34
TTC #1
DH 36
Ttc since Jan 2015
Cycle length usually 24 days with 8 day luteal phase so beginning to think this could be an issue.
CD 25 but BFN

Not helped by fact that DH works away during the week. I have been to the doctor who referred me for a pelvic ultrasound and day 21 and day 2-5 bloods. I had the ultrasound and day 21 bloods last week so anxiously awaiting results. I have also started taking vitamin B6 (50mg) to see if this extends luteal phase.

I started acupuncture 6 weeks ago and would recommend. I was worried as also scared of needles but explained this to my therapist who took things very slowly. The needles are 'tapped' in and once in place (8-10 needles in total) you can't really feel they are there, v relaxing and good to speak to an experienced 'outsider' about the journey you are on. I also saw a Chinese herbalist yesterday so will see how that goes. Surely my BFP isn't far off, I am trying EVERYTHING!!
