Is there a TTC#3 thread or can I start one here?

Quick intro: been on and off mn for years, rejoined for the fun that is TTC CakeBrew Have two lovely DC, 10 and 3. Knocking on a bit, but would love a third. We've decided to give it a year as of now (well actually til end of next year) to conceive, then we'll call it a day. Conception and carrying never been easy for me, hence big age gap.
Please do pop in and join me Smile

Evening, peeps Smile

Exciting times ahead. TTC#2 made me a bit obsessive, which I am determined not to be this time. We love our two little nutters and would love to have a third, but are much more relaxed about it this time - that said, we're not officially trying yet! If we haven't conceived by next Christmas, we have said we will stop.

So, I am on cycle -2, cd5 Grin

Hello!

Been checking in but absolutely nothing to report as only now cd10, and I just had to check it was cd10 by checking back to see when I posted cd5, so definitely not obsessed yet Grin Last time I could tell you exactly which cd I was on and when I'd ovulated! Not temping or OPKs yet. What's SMEP? That's a new term for me.
Hope everyone else ok. Anyone getting close to POAS time?

Ooh, me, me! I have a 5yo and a 2yo. We started TTC a month ago, in a sort of half-hearted 'let's do it then I suppose!', sort of way. Missed my window by a few days because we were too exhausted to dtd Blush - romance, eh?

So I'm joining a conception thread to make it real. I have OPKs, an ovulation tracker app on my phone, and I'm ready to party.

Yes! I'm ttc number 3 - got DS who is 4 in December and ds2 who is 14 months. My periods came back this month so we'll see what happens. We've got a don't try but don't try and stop it approach to this one and then if I'm not pregnant by next christmas we're going to stick at two!

Hello, may I join the thread?

I'm almost 33yo and have 2 dds aged almost 6.10yo and 3.7yo. Dd1 was conceived naturally after 9m; dd2 took 2y and 6 cycles of Clomid. We were diagnosed as having 'unexplained secondary infertility', which was horrible at the time and I'm just so glad dd2 did finally come along.

I've recently been diagnosed with asthma, which I've learned, if unmanaged, can increase the time it takes to become pg. I'm now taking medicine for it, so it'll be interesting to see if this makes a difference (i.e. I get pg!)

I've been thinking about ttc #3 since dd2 was almost 2yo, so quite a long time now! I think a mixture of things (emotional and practical) put me off ttc but I feel that I'm ready now. DH is very keen and has been for ages. I would love just one more baby to hold - another dd or a ds.

In fact, it is now or never as I think if we don't try now, the age gaps will be too large. I've read that a few on here will give it a year and call it a day if it hasn't happened, and I think that's what I would prefer to do. I'll potentially have a 7yo, 4yo and newborn or 8yo, 5yo and newborn. We tried last month but I got AF on Saturday so I'm on cycle 2, cd3.

Hi all. Hi Ostentatious, Clara and Queen, nice to 'see' you

That's teally interesting about asthma; I've never heard that before. I had symptomatic asthma as a child but then seemed to outgrow it, but the tests they do for airways never really improved all that much. I'm quite fit and it's never given me too much bother over the years. Until recently. I've been floored by a nasty chest infection that has induced terrible symptoms and I've been started back on meds with a view to improving them. So for a long time, I guess it's not been well managed. After years of problematic fertility, it'll probably catch me unawares, before were quite ready Grin !! Like you, we've sort of been holding off and officially aren't 'trying' til Jan, for 12 months. It would be lovely if it happened quickly and easily, but the timing wouldn't really be ideal until after I'd finished a training module I'm due to start in January for 6 months.

How is everyone?

I'm on CD10 or 11 but I'm unsure if my new medicine is affecting my cycles. I woke in the middle of the night with sharp pains in my uterus. Maybe it was early ovulation? Something else? Maybe nothing? I turn into a terrible symptom-spotter when ttc (something I'd like to be different this time, but old habits and all that). I'm due to ovulate at the end of the week if my cycle is on track, though.

Hi stars not too bad here although I seem to be having an unusual cycle. I'm on day 17 today and normally, 1-2 days after ov (I usually ov day 13/14) my boobs hurt and the pain increases over the last half of my cycle (boobs are tender to touch; I can't have dd's lying across me as it hurts if their heads press on them and they're off limits to DH!).

Anyway, I'm not sure when/if I've ov'd. I haven't had any of the pain I usually have with ov (very particular feeling) but I have had other pains low down in my belly Confused

It's typical that everything is a bit off now, isn't it?! It could be my new medication (can't remember if I've mentioned this already?) affecting my cycles or it could be the medicine having a general anti-inflammatory effect, hence my boobs don't feel like they've been beaten up.

How are you?

It's been a while since anyone posted on this thread!

Happy new year to you all! How is everyone?

2nd cycle of ttc didn't work (boo!) and AF came on December 20th. Now on cycle 3: I ov'd around New Year's Eve/Day, so that was a nice way to herald 2016's arrival. I'm currently on cd20 and feeling a bit blue. It's probably the post-Christmas comedown and everything being back to normal this week. I also really, really want another baby and I have a feeling it's just not happened this month. I had some brown spotting about 3 days after ov'ing, but that's way too early for implantation. I had some mild cramps today, but that's not unusual because AF is due again in about a week Sad

I'd love to be wrong, but I'm preparing for AF, as usual.

Hi,
We are ttc #3. We've been really indecisive about this for a while and kept changing our minds but we are going for it now.
I am so nervous but excited.
We have 2 dd's age 9 and 2 1/2. Currently have our house up for sale and need to move before we have a baby so hopefully it all works out!
I'm trying to be relaxed this time I went a bit nuts about ttc with dd2 and it took a year - could be a coincidence but I'm sure my stresses didn't help!
Good luck everyone
