Hello everyone, this is my first post.

My lovely OH and I are trying for our first baby, we've only been trying properly for 2 months but we're both really excited.

I was taking bc up to April this year but came off and went straight back to my 29 day cycle, AF arrived bang on time, up to last month. This month I am now on CD 33 and still nothing but also 2 negative pregnancy tests. I had some minimal spotting yesterday morning but nothing since. Hmm I just wish AF would hurry up so I know for sure!

The only thing I can think is I know I ovulated late this month as it was my first month of using OPKs. I had the LH surge on CD 19 so presume I ovulated on CD 20-21. Perhaps this is why it's late.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Thank you in advance!
Becky xx

Hi there,
I'm also pretty new here, 31 and TTC number 1, on cycle 2. Started with opks this month, had my LH surge yesterday but OH is feeling poorly today, grr!
Still trying to get used to sex without protection, really excited to get pregnant but also kinda terrified as spent so long trying to avoid getting knocked up.
It does sound like AF could be late because you ovulated late. I'm not looking forward to the two week wait and trying to decide when to test, the plan was to stay relaxed and see what happened but it's tricky to stay sane when you really want someting to happen and don't really have much control over it.
Hope you get AF (or a BFP) soon so you can work out what's going on!

pixie Hi there!
We have both been ready for a while, had my implant out around 9 months ago and the first month we were planning on starting trying I interviewed and got a new job - it wasn't going to start for 3 months though so we thought about it and decided we needed to wait until I had started the job and been working for 6 months (so they don't hate me too much when I go back after mat leave). Finally reached that stage but that last 9 month have been so long, staying calm and sane is going to be tough!

Bless I understand about the job situation. We moved into our house last year and have done a lot of it up since then, wanted to get that out the way. Dp gave the go ahead after this - I think he's really nervous and scared, but it's the 'right ish' time - I say that because there's never a completely right time!
How long you and dp been together? X

Been with DP 6 years, married for 2. Think he is just as excited as me. He was looking at those pregnancy record books on amazon. Grin

AF arrived on Monday - 5 days late! Was a bit disappointed but I did feel like it was coming! I must have ovulated later than normal last month - probably the stress of going back to work! (I'm a teacher!) x

Hey,

Just wanted to say hello as I'm in the same kind of situation as well, it's nice being able to talk to other people! We have been planning to start trying this month for a while, got married in June but went to Africa for honeymoon so had to wait until the malaria tablets were out of our systems! Think I'm putting quite a lot of pressure on myself for this month so trying to make myself relax a bit more!

Good luck to everyone testing soon!

Hey Rose good luck! We started trying on honeymoon but AF came the day after we got home so this is round two. DH asked a couple of times 'so are you pregnant now do you think' lol tried to explain the mechanics but he looked lost x

Hey ladies,
TTC no one, im still very early as have just finished pill in August think I began ovulating on day 28 of my cycle, (not using tests just by what was going on in my body, thought it was AF but no sign no presumed OV) I'm now 7 DPO, waiting to take a test next weekend.

It really is a waiting game :) xx

Hey guys, no BFP for me yet, this was the first month I had used OPKs and was really hopeful, hit me harder than I expected when AF arrived. Decided that I need to try and lose a bit of weight to help my chances but trying to be gentle. If it happens ine the next couple of months thats going to be a massive plus. Anyone else trying to stay chilled but finding themselves getting a little more emotional than usual? x

Hi

Me too, this is my 1st proper cycle TTC - came off pill in August. This is cd10 and DTD yesterday and this morning, going to try every day until day 15! Perhaps ambitious..

Good luck everyone!
