Would you stop TTC when waiting to get a breast lump checked out

I have an appointment at the breast clinic next week following an urgent referral from the GP. Due to ovulate over the next few days. Would you put off TTC on the off chance the lump is sinister? TTC for DC 3, 32yo in case it's relevant. Thanks.

No, because it will very likely be nothing to worry about, and even if you got bad news you'd get it very quickly and would be able to make decisions straight away, probably even before conception occurred.

It is likely nothing, but yes I would stop just in case.

Last thing you want is to have hard decisions to make if you did conceive and it did turn out to be something.

Really hope all is well and it does turn out to be nothing x

Thank you sorry to drip feed but I'm in northern ireland so "choices" are EXTREMELY limited here.

OK, in that case I'd change my mind and hit pause for a couple of weeks. Good luck.

Yes I would not ttc this month if I was you, even if I had options.

It's probably nothing to worry about but I'd put TTC on hold just to be on the safe side.

I have had a similar issue and did hold off for that month - but I don't particularly struggle to conceive and hadn't been trying long, so that might make a difference.

My choices were also limited in the circumstances I was in (abroad, medical confidentiality issues), which was also a deciding factor in waiting a month.

Thanks everyone. I had of course decided to wait but now that I'm about to ov um just getting inpatient. We haven't struggled to conceive in the past thank goodness so I will be sensible and put it off amd hope for good news next week Thanks
