Hi all, I'm new to this so apologies if I'm in the wrong place.

We have been ttc only for one month and my ovulation day was the 18th june. 2 days later I had heartburn (which I've never had before) and its lasted ever since. Also yesterday my urine was very dark and I had twinges in my stomach throughout the day. Do you think this means anything? Can't test for another 10 days so just curious!

My ov day was also 18 which means that implantation was yesterday at the earliest but more probably between next Thursday to Sunday. So I don't think it is possible to get symptoms this early. The thing is that progesterone levels rise so actually luteal phase has symptoms very similar to pregnancy. Apart from occasional cramps I have no other symptoms. I struggle to restrain myself from testing (actually yesterday I succumbed and got a bfn) but I know that it's too early.

No it doesn't mean anything. Implantation takes 7-10 days from ovulation and some people will have a few symptoms after that. It's definitely way too early.
When you are trying to conceive you notice everything your body does when you wouldn't have before. I thought I was pregnant every month without fail because of the symptoms, but it was 5 months before I actually was.

I also think I ovulated on 18 June. Got slightly sore breasts but as that came on before I dtd have worked out it must be linked to ovulation rather than pregnancy!

I hope the very best for everyone on this thread but must mention that the more you spot, or "hope to spot" the more you will actually notice.

My first cycle I have every symptom you think is typical (sensitive nipples, twinges, heart burn, crazy hunger, nausea, frequent urination...) that I'd "never had before". I was convinced! So when my period came I was more upset that first time than I have been the next 4 cycles (about to start my 6th).

Now that I'm being a little less crazy I still notice similar symptoms of course but I'm not trusting anything until I see that word "pregnant"... I think I'll probably pass out in shock at this point!

Baby bump that is so true. I was so convinced I was pregnant a few cycles, absolutely certain - but I wasnt. Twice I've realised I was pregnant without missing a period ( the first time I hadn't had a period for 6 months after coming off the pill, knew something was up, bfp, by the time I had a dating scan 2 weeks later I was still less than 6 weeks pregnant). On a sadder note, both those times I miscarried. Whereas with ds, I was on holiday, drinking, smoking, scuba diving until I realised - hang on, af was due a couple of days ago! Don't recommend that course of action, though ds is perfectly healthy now! Anyway best of luck to everyone and hope we have a least one bfp between us!!!
