Has anyone had a radical trachelectomy and got pregnant?

I had cervical cancer 2 years ago and had a radical trachelectomy, this is when you have your cervix removed. The stitches failed and I have had them removed. Not only do I have this to contend with but I'm 39 and overweight (which I am desperately trying to loose with not much luck). I just wondered if anyone else had the same procedure done and how easy it was to get pregnant ? I was told I may need IVF but that could also be due to my age. Feeling very fed up and depressed by the whole thing
