Hi all
I took my last pill on Friday 5th June. I was 1 week through the pack ( didn't find out till after that I should of carried on until end of pack) I had my last AF on the pill from 29th- 31st May. I started which I'm presuming my withdrawal bleed on Monday the 8th. Do I count that as day 1 of my cycle? How do I then work out when I should be ovulating or do I need to wait a couple of months to see how my cycle goes, as long as it comes back. Feeling ever so nervous, I've seen lots of stories of people struggling to get af back after coming of the pill, never mind getting pregnant.

It's years since I've been on the pill and someone else may correct me on this but I would say yes, count your first day of bleeding as cd1. It probably is going to take a while for your body to settle down but if you want to be proactive about establishing what is going on with your cycle then get yourself a big batch of cheap opks and a bbt thermometer and start charting.

Thanks for your message. Feel like I'm going to burst, we're so excited to be trying but I'm also really anxious as to how long everything will take. I have no one to talk to about it all as we're not saying anything to anyone until we are expecting so that could take ages

The conception boards are a great place to talk, lots of people are going through a similar situation to you. Have a nosey around the different groups and join one you like the look of Smile

Good luck for a speedy pregnancy!
