Clomid prescribed twice?

Sorry if this has been done. I conceived DD using Clomid after 2.5 years TTC. It worked first round and she's now 18 months. I have PCO which is why it was prescribed for DD. I bf for a year and my periods haven't really come back, before DD I was only having around 6 a year and not ovulating due to the PCO. I've read that if you have a child you aren't eligible for further help on the NHS. Has anyone been prescribed Clomid twice? My bmi is normal range.

I think it depends on your PCT. I already have a DD and have had a lap and hysteroscopy and been prescribed Clomid. I would make an appointment with your gp to confirm.

Yes, I've had 3 rounds of it now. Sadly only the first round seemed to work and I got my DD. she's now 5 and the 2 rounds since then haven't worked. We are looking at IVF this summer.

Watching with interest. I have 2dcs (conceived without any assistance) but as I have a short luteal phase think I may need clomid this time. I'm worried gp will say as I have dcs already they won't help. I've read many people on here though that have had it prescribed on nhs for more than one dc. But get the feeling that its luck of the pct.

Good luck.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes. I have gp appointment in less than 2 weeks. I'll let you know how that goes. I'm 38 now so want to crack on with it asap if they will prescribe me clomid. Fingers crossed for us both x

Hi I've just been prescribed clomid for 3 months. My FSH level was 14 And I'm 35.

I'm waiting for AF so I can start the clomid in my next cycle. I'm pretty sure I ovulated this month though as I had all the symptoms. In fact ovulation doesn't seem to be the issue for me (unexplained infertility) so I'm wondering why i've been prescribed clomid?
