Dont feel silly, it happens to us all. We've been trying for 9 cycles now and each one of them ive practically convinced myself every single time and each time I tell myself I won't let it happen again!

Yes when TTC you suddenly notice your body doing all these things that they did before and you barely noticed!! Turned out my boobs hurt before every period and the one time they didn't hurt BAM!! BFP!

You're not alone - I think everyone symptom spots in the first month of TTC. I know I did. It's taught me a lesson though. I'm on cycle 2 now and determined not to get my hopes up this time as I guess I can ignore all the "symptoms" I noticed last time round! x

You're not daft. You're hopeful. I was like that. Then after a while I put all my symptoms down to pmt. turns out I was pregnant after 18 months!

If 1992 is your date of birth you have a lot of time on your side - chill out as you say...Good luck.

People here often call it "symptom spotting". It's where you keep focussing on every single feeling your body has, and attributing it to a pregnancy symptom, when it could very well be something else.

If you haven;t done so yet, it might be worth keeping a diary of your symptoms each month. That way you can look back and see if it's just your usual body twinges, or if it's something different.
