Why do I feel like this??

Hi all, af is due in two days and for the last two days I have felt dreadful. Sunday I was shivering, exhausted and dizzy. Monday I had to leave work after a couple of hours as I was dizzy again, felt so sick and again exhausted. Felt ok yesterday morning, but again after lunch felt so ill again- mainly this overwhelming exhaustion. Took a frer with fmu today-bfn. Bit disappointed but know that it's still two days before af. I'm also off certain foods and generally feel just poorly. Several people at work commented on how pale I looked as well. Probably clutching at straws but is there any hope that I am pregnant after this bfn? I know a lot of preg symptoms can be the same as af but I have never ever felt so ill before a period in my life!! Anyone experienced this?

You could just be ill.
Try not to over think it and just wait and see, you can drive yourself mad symptom spotting. Last month I had every symptom going and was not pregnant.

I'm really not symptom spotting,honest! Decided to chill out this month after going a bit crazy...didn't even bother with opks this month. It could be that i am ill i suppose,i just feel "strange"...cant explain it really! The odd thing is the food-i love my food and certain things the last couple of days have made me gag! I probably am just hoping.

It could be either. Last cycle I was convinced I was pregnant - no energy, felt faint, food was tasting weird, gums were sore - but actually it was just a cruelly-timed cold which hit me properly the same day that AF started. Fingers crossed for you though x

So i was just poorly after all. Af has arrived a day early. Feel like a right tit now and crying at my desk.....good job no one is around yet to see what a show I'm making of myself!

I am in the same place as you.. although with amazing foresight I arranged to work from home today. Have already had one trip to the chocolate spread jar.

I had Monday off work, sick. decided it was pregnancy symptoms but turns out it was a cold. At least I have tissues to hand for the tears

Don't feel like a tit... Unintentional symptom spotting is a hazard of TTC! Hope you feel better soon and fingers crossed for that BFP

Aww, sorry to hear AF turned up mrsgoogle - I felt like a prize tit when mine came along too, but it's only natural to get over-excited - the 2ww is a cruel thing. Treat yourself to some wine/rare steak/a vat of coffee/other things that would've been off the cards had things turned out differently! x

Ok, quick update....af seems to have stopped! Was definite blood on tissue this morning but when I checked at work late morning there was just a smudge on tampon (sorry tmi!). So waiting to see what happens next!

Bugger. I just had a hilarious conversation with gp about heavy periods and she kept suggesting different methods of contraception and I had to keep saying NO I WANT A BABY. It took a while!
