Back in August '14 I had my Mirena coil removed and in mid October had my first AF in nearly 10 years (continuous Mirena usage)
then cycles of ....
30 days AF
37 days AF
25 days AF
currently at day 39 and no sign at all of AF my average is a 31 day cycle and many years ago I was a 29/30 day cycle regular as clockwork.
I did a HPT 2 mornings ago and it was BFN I now am not sure what to do....given my longest cycle was 37 days followed by the worlds worst AF which in the last week prior to it starting I had felt coming along with cramps and generally being a cow...but this time nothing.
Should I just keep waiting and in a week try another test? what do you lovely ladies think.

BTW we are not actively trying to conceive as we know my age is against us but lets say we would be over the moon if I was lucky enough to fall.... I fell very easily for my daughter but that was 23yrs ago and a lot of AF's have passed by since then lol Grin Grin

I guess I'm on my own with this?

Did I post this in the wrong place or do something wrong?

Sad

This sounds a lot like peri menopause, one of the first symptoms is changes in cycle length. Given your age it is fairly likely. A trip to the GP might be an idea?

I saw my GP prior to having my coil removed and after a series of blood tests as I had been having migraines and they wanted to know if my hormones were to blame because i might have been heading towards menopause.....They came back as still as good as ever no sign of menopause....wondering if it can change in a few months ?
Guess I might test again tomorrow and if still BFN and 9 days overdue I will make an appointment ??

You might also just have a long cycle. You had 30/37/25 day cycles recently, so really only 3 days later than longest so far, what happened 10 years ago might not be what you should go by now?

I did not want to read and run, but maybe due to you being on the coil it might take a few months to settle down, i have been on the contraceptive pill for 8 years and my cycles have been wonky, maybe go back and tell them your cycles are all over the place and see what they say!!!

Still no sign of AF and got the first appointment available which is in 10 days time. Wish I could forget about it till then but it's just not as easy as that ??

See what the Dr says & I would guess peri menopause as well but I may be wrong.
