Extremely faint line on pregnancy test

Hi everyone. I have just done a pregnancy test and a very faint line has appeared in the window. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this and if anyone else can see it, or is it just my wishful thinking?!

I would be due to start my period today or tomorrow and have had a few cramps yesterday, although I have read that this could be implantation pain instead?

Would love to hear your advice!

Sarah. X

I had this. I rang up the nurse at the climic who said, if you see a faint line, it's positive. She was right!

I see it, a line is a line. You're pregnant!

This has happened to me three times and I have two children and a bun planted firmly in the oven . I have never seen a dark line . Congratulations!

Thanks everyone. Struggling to concentrate on anything at work today now I've had this news!

Think I will buy a couple of the digital tests to show my husband when I tell him tonight. Will be easier for him to see if it's there in black and white.

Sarah I wouldn't buy digis yet. They won't say pregnant until you've got a darker line on that test. You are definitely pregnant but the digis need a higher level of hcg to register. X

Thanks for the tip! I'll wait a few days for the digital tests until my hcg levels are higher. X

That's exactly how faint my line was when I tested the day my AF was due. DH took a lot of convincing that a line is a line. DD is now two weeks old Grin

I see a line! I had this yesterday! I thought it was my eyes playing tricks!

I bought a First Response Early Response kit and had a much pinker line- but a line is a line!

Couldn't resist a digi this morning and it says 1-2 weeks!

Ccongratulations! Come join in on the September / October antenatal threads!

I bought a pack of 2 digi tests for later in the week. Couldn't resist taking one now, it says pregnant! Wasn't 100% sure I believed it until now!! Confused

Yay! I was the same. I pretend to be really relaxed/casual with the digi response expecting it to say Not Pregnant and then feel deflated...

That big ol' pregnant does make it all real eh?

Did it give you your weeks?

Sarah that's excellent! Surprised the line isn't darker on your first rest if digi picking it up but these tests can be a bit daft sometimes. Congratulations.

It says 1-2 weeks which is what I had thought. This was only our second month of trying. I had thought it might take a bit longer so it's taking a while to sink in!

The non digi test I did was just a very cheap one so maybe it wasn't very sensitive hence the very faint line.

Congratulations again!.I'm trying to stay busy and distract myself but can't stop thinking about it! The next 12 weeks are going to be tough!
