clear blue ovulations sticks

Hi everyone

I have been using the clearblue sticks for 2 months now. Last month showed 3 flashing days then i got my period.

This month i had one stick say low fertility and then in jammed up.

I then used a stick on my old reader (only a month) and it said peak fertility with no flashing beforehand.

My questions therefore are:

Can the sticks flash one month and not the next ie could my cycle really be that different? And

Would my peak be due to using a stick that had flashed the previous month or could I just go from low fertility to peak in one day (esp when the previous.month i had 4 flashing days then got my period)???

I'm not sure if I have a dodgy cycle or am using dodgy sticks :)
