Just as the title says really, at what point during the whole TTC do you start asking for medical help? And how is best to put to a GP to get some help?
My situation has so many barriers and I can think of so many reasons why the NHS wouldn't help. Sadly we are not in a financial position to go private.
My situation is as follows:
I'm 40, diagnosed with PCOS 9 years ago.
Came off pill in October 2012 which was treatment for PCOS.
Irregular cycles for first 8 months (just 2 periods in that time)
Varying cycles since between 28 and 45 days.
Got pregnant april this year, had MMC at 12 weeks.
Conceived again during the WTF cycle but MC at 5+3.
Still in WTF cycle following 2nd miscarriage, now on CD57.
Have more pg symptoms known to man but 13 pg tests are all BFN.
I have 3 DC from my first marriage (they are 19, 18 and 14), all delivered by C section.
So I'm thinking of seeing GP to see if there is anything can be done to regulate my cycles so we are in with a chance to conceive. But I half suspect I'll be sent away with a flea in my ear because I've got 3 DC, I've had 3CS and they wouldn't recommend another, I'm 40 and too old for help.
DH would love a baby together and after 2 years of trying and 2 MC's I'm beginning to wonder if it will happen.
